God, you are such an idiot. Do you really think I didn't already have an answer for that?

California bans the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035

Government is driving the shift to EV's. It isn't market driven in the least. If government wasn't putting in regulations and laws that grossly favor EV's, wasn't heavily subsidizing the production of them, and was outright banning the alternatives, EV's would have remained a niche market and nothing else.
What's going to be really funny is when they succeed and the result has little or no effect on CO2 in the atmosphere. I wonder what their next scam to fuck us all over will be?
Government didn't force the Internet on consumers. They recognized the value of it and bought in willingly to something useful on their own. EV's aren't very useful, and most people don't want one. The only way they are making inroads into the market--AS I HAVE PROVEN--is by government forcing them down people's throats.
Like wind and solar that don't work, EV's are another greentard idea of the radical Left that doesn't do what they claim it should. The reason greentards want EV's is to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere. My bet? If 100% of all motor vehicles became zero CO2 emission types it would have no discernible impact on worldwide CO2 in the atmosphere.
Then, just like the CFC ban and the hole in the ozone layer that the same sort of greentards are telling us we have to go zero emissions on vehicles, they will be proven dead flat wrong and what will follow will be silence while they figure out a new scam to fuck society over with on the environment.
You haven't proven shit, boy. You posted a few articles. Correlation doesn't prove causation, boy.
How many Chinese slaves per mile are you getting with your toy car.
Evs are improving fast. The future for America looks much better. They are already far better than ICEs.
You talk about politics making for interesting bedfellows. You have Elon Musk who has been called a Nazi, a supporter of white supremacy, runs a racist company (Tesla) and could be responsible for the end of our democracy but he makes a car that liberals like and conservatives (supposedly) don't.

Liberals like Tesla because it makes them feel superior conservatives don't need a car to make them feel superior.
Electric vehicle sales hit a tipping point in 2022
1:52 PM EST December 27, 2022
Next time you're circling a full parking lot, try to remember what you saw in it just a couple of years ago. Things are different, now. There are a lot more electric vehicles and they aren't just Teslas anymore, either.
"It's not your eyes tricking you," said Matt Degen, an editor at Cox Automotive, a company that owns a number of auto-related websites and firms. "For the longest time, the majority of the EVs on the road were Teslas, and they still get the lion's share of sales, but they're now hardly the only game in town."
Electric vehicles accounted for 5.6% of all new vehicles sold last year, according to Kelley Blue Book. That may not sound like a lot, but as recently as 2019 that figure was just 1.4%. Based on the experience in other global markets -- particularly Norway -- 5% market share seems to be an important tipping point for wider adoption, said BloombergNEF researcher Corey Cantor. Other markets, such as China and Europe overall, have shown similar trends, according to data provided by BloombergNEF. Bloomberg includes plug-in hybrids in its count of "electric vehicles," but a large majority are purely battery-powered models.
It's unclear exactly why 5% seems to mark the point where EV sales really take off. It could be that it marks the level at which something begins to seem normal. The overall US market share for Hyundai, for example, is about the same as the market share for electric vehicles, according to Cox Automotive, and buying a Hyundai doesn't seem like anything weird or unusual. It's getting to be the same for electric vehicles: It's no longer uncommon to see them on the roads which makes it easier to consider getting one.
Now, electric vehicles just need to become easier to buy.
"I think now the demand is definitely there," said Cantor. "It's just been more a supply side problem of automakers not being able to ship enough."

Government is driving the shift to EV's. It isn't market driven in the least.
Is the government forcing car manufacturers to make EVs?
No. They're making EVs because they're better cars than ICE cars. Easier to manufacture, easier to maintain, cheaper to run.
Post all the articles you want. You're wasting your time. Nothing will stop the surge of EV sales worldwide. You lose.
electric cars are for virtue signalling elitists idiots.

I can do that with an ICE vehicle for the most part.
Not to mention mostly for scientific and engineering illiterates...
For all intents, yes. California, now joined by several other states have decreed an end to allowing sales of non-zero emission vehicles in a few years. That is forcing--FORCING--manufacturers to switch production to EV's as there are few alternatives that meet that decree.
This isn't true either. Most auto manufacturers are set up to build ICE vehicles. Switching to EV's means spending billions on new production lines and scrapping current ones. EV's also aren't "cheaper to run" nor are they easy to maintain. If something went wrong with your POS EV, could you diagnose and fix the problem? I can do that with an ICE vehicle for the most part.
Yes, yes, you are in implacable moron / retard and want to believe in unicorns. Go ahead...

That's not surprising that an auto mechanic can diagnose issues with an ICE vehicle.
But if you worked at an actual garage you'd still have a lot more advanced equipment and computerized materials you don't have at your trailer.
As for "maintenance", well I can tell you that it IS much less expensive. I've had my Chevy Bolt for about 3 years now and only have to go to the shop once every few months to have the tires checked and the windshield wiper fluid topped off. No oil changes necessary.
And, I can't stress this enough, I haven't bought gas for about 3 years now. I drive FOR FREE (I have solar on my house).
So at the end of the day I'm still coming out ahead. No fuel costs, very little maintenance cost and a good experience overall.
Joe Crapitalist feels "superior" while driving a car that uses Chinese slave labor and child labor to build the batteries that store energy that 61% comes from fossil fuels.
