I just think it's very ironic. When some on here have such a clear double-standard - how can they expect to have credibility for their claims?

If honesty was important to Trump supporters, we'd be able to find countless threads on here from them between 2016 -2020, decrying his lies. I could search for days and likely not find one.

Honest point here: if people decry the evils of Biden doesn't that mean that they, themselves, supported someone who was more honest? I think we can all agree that Trump was the king of lies. I mean he lied like everyone else breathed.

So when you Trump supporters come on with thread after thread after thread decrying Biden's gaffes shouldn't it be tempered because YOU GUYS SUPPORTED SOMEONE MUCH, MUCH, WORSE.

So, yeah, tu quoque is VERY MUCH CALLED FOR.

If someone is a neo-nazi sympathiser and complains about how intolerant some people are of Jews don't you think the FIRST THING ANYONE IS GOING TO MENTION IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE A NEONAZI?

The way I see it Trump lied and Biden lies / lied too. One isn't worse than the other in that respect, but I will say Biden's worse as a delusional serial liar. One of his worst aspects is when he's called out on it he becomes incredibly insulting and angry towards the person that called him out, particularly if that person is perceived by him to be 'beneath him' in social status.

Biden sees absolutely nothing wrong with berating some working stiff or small business owner who calls him out for a lie, or because their own political ideas don't mesh.

As for your post, it's one big set of complex question fallacies.

I don't even think that most conservatives would agree that "one isn't worse than the other in that respect."

That's absolutely preposterous. Trump is a pathological liar. Period.

Wrong. Trump is a braggard and bloviating narcissist. Biden is a pathological liar. He lies even when he doesn't have to and lies about stuff he doesn't need to even lie about. Worse, as I pointed out, when called on it, Biden gets angry and will try to get even or give payback for you calling him out. Trump just STFU for a moment then goes on as if the person calling him out didn't exist. And, yes, Biden's response is worse. Both are childish, but only one is being a bully to those he knows he can bully.

I don't even know what to make of the above. It's not reality.

Trump has called countless reporters "nasty" and always lashes out when confronted. "Excuse me...excuse me....excuse me!" I mean, your characterization is just fabricated.

And he lies so much more than Biden - there is zero comparison. That's such a partisan take. Like I said - most conservatives wouldn't even agree w/ you, much less everyone else. It's an incredible claim.

Biden lies to cover up his involvement in selling access to his office as VP. He said he knew nothing about his son's business dealings. But the White House visitor's logs show one of Hunter's partners visiting Joe or his aids 19 times. :palm:
