"The committee’s historic referral says there is sufficient evidence to refer Trump for four crimes: obstructing an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the government, making knowingly and willfully materially false statements to the federal government, and inciting or assisting an insurrection.

"Trump has called the investigations into his conduct after the 2020 election 'witch hunts' and defended his actions as legitimate.

"He continues to falsely claim he won the election and that Biden’s victory was the result of widespread voter fraud in the swing states he lost."

I never have been and still am not hopeful that Trump will die in a prison like he deserves, but I am glad that his abysmal reputation continues to be pummeled into the ground. When all of his idiot supporters are dead all that will be left of Trump's legacy will be lost or settled lawsuits, two impeachments, and this committee report. The most disgraced, destructive, disastrous president in American history.

I suspect more than a few of them may be facing charges themselves.

FWIW, the usual legal strategy for prosecutors is to go after the smaller fish first and the bigger fish later using testimony from smaller fish who accepted plea deals.

It's working that way for the White Supremacist Extremists (WSEs) facing trial or providing testimony at trials.

There is no evidence! Trump lied,caused and insurrection, manslaughter, treason! He should be in Levansworth waiting for execution!

From what I've heard and read, the "obstructing an official proceeding" is the charge most likely to be the most troublesome for Pedo Don.
 
It seems about as clear as day that the J6 riots don't happen if Trump, among other things, isn't claiming the election is stolen.

Those of you who support Dutch should be DAMNED ASHAMED of yourself to be honest. Not asking you to support me or anyone else for that matter,....but at least stop casting your pearls at the feet of swine like him. Its disgusting. One good thing Ive noticed.
