Glad you've found us. Since this is the first time we've spoken: A word of caution. I only come here for sincere polite discussions of politics. Thus I use the ignore feature extensively. I still believe in the United States of America. I don't intend on seeing the USA go away.

Yeah, we are having a tough time with right wing propaganda and bitter polarization but I we can get through this. All is not lost.

We just need to counter BS with truth, and do it in a rational non-threatening way.

Give people a reason to walk away from the Republican party.

We need a more united America. We need more civil discourse.

A more united America could work on reducing corruption, for instance.

That would be a good thing.
