Looks like the trading card announcement was the straw that broke the spell he had on so many people.

Between that & losing the last 3 elections for the GOP, his supporters are finally seeing what the rest of America saw from day 1: A self-absorbed narcissist man-baby, who cares nothing for this country.
 
I dunno. Ben Garrison has been depicting Trump as some form of superhero for years now and that didn't do it. I agree, though, that the GOP is deserting Trump now that they have all the learnings from him that they need (they learned that there is no bottom to the barrel. There will ALWAYS be a voting base who wants to mock the disabled, denigrate fallen American soldiers, mock POW's, lie, cheat, steal, evade taxes and toady up to ever vicious dictator on earth). They no longer "need" DJT. They can start finding smart people to do the evil they want done and with smart people doing it it will be far more effective.

Jan 6 will be one of those bellwethers in American history that gave a precursor to what the GOP actually plans for the nation formerly known as the USA.
 
Naww MAGA supporters realize Trump loves America but he is getting old like Biden just younger and not demented. Anyway the anti American Democrats have attacked him relentlessly so it may be time to hand the mantel to a younger pro America candidate. We don't care if it is Trump or DeSantis as long as one of them wins in 2024 and replaces the corrupt octogenarian that currently occupies the White House.

I agree w/ a lot of that. I've thought for years that the GOP would start moving away from the idea of democracy. The demographics have shifted against them, and they know that they do worse when more people vote. They've been trying to stave this off since the motor-voter bill debate in the nineties.

It simply doesn't work for them anymore. Instead of modifying their positions to appeal to more voters, they're trying to pass more measures to restrict voting. But soon that won't make a difference either - so they'll want to trash the whole thing.

Hopefully, our better angels will prevail.

Well Perry constricted Dickhead. Your corrupt pResident has:

1. Sold access to his government office to our political enemies.
2. Took money from CCP connected companies that he has never declared on his taxes.
3. Violated Senate ethics rules by commingling his and Hunter's bank accounts.
4. Lied about knowing nothing of his son's shady business deals
5. Gotten American soldiers killed by his poorly executed withdrawal from Afghanistan.
5. Disrespected those dead soldiers who had paid the ultimate price for America and died because of Biden's botched withdrawal.
6. Cheated in the 2020 election by soliciting the help of social media but not paying for that service. That should not surprise you because he got caught cheating by plagiarizing in Law school and during his first failed pResidential campaign.
7. Biden is in fact the bottom of that Barrel

And Trump ain’t quitting, regardless of anything, he knows that once the primary season begins he will own the base, those that love the insults and idiocy, and the GOP, plus right wing media, will consequently jump right on board

I honestly don't understand people who mock the disabled. Truly horrible people.

So you think Biden isn't a liar. He flunked outed a year of law school because he lied and said other's work was his. He did it AGAIN TWICE during his first failed pResidential campaign. He has done it During the 2020 campaign when he said Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation and that he had never spoken with Hunter about Hunter's business dealings even though one of Hunter's business partners met with Biden or one of his assistants 19 times in the White House as verified by the visitors log. Biden is a corrupt pathological liar. Don't even try to be sanctimonious about Trump.

2 things I kind of enjoy:

- Trumpers don't even try to deny how much of a liar he is now. Every response is usually a poor attempt at whataboutism.
- All politicians DO lie - but it's embarrassing to try to compare anyone to Trump. He is the master, and has turned it into an art form. A true pathological liar, who basically lies and exaggerates about everything.

There is no comparison whatsoever between Biden & Trump in that regard. Or Trump and pretty much anyone.

Do you really believe that? Do you think the right could not discover proof and broadcast it? Why cannot rightys learn about how safe and fair our elections are? On the right, there is a conspiracy ever day and you believe it If you required proof to believe any of them, you would find them ludicrous. They are multiple nothings.

Trump was mocking the person with the SAME GESTURE he has use with other fully able people . He was treating him the SAME as he would treat you or me.
