Just reading about another 1/6 rioter who was just sentenced to 5 years. He wants to get away from politics and get back to being a family man when he gets out.

Add him to the LONG list of those who were fooled by Trump, and whose loyalty has been repaid with any of the following: jail time, lost careers, ruined reputations, fines and major lawsuits. It has to be hundreds of people at this point, maybe more. People who served in his admin, media personalities who went out on a limb for him, lawyers, supporters, et al.

Trump is a classic charlatan and grifter. He demands loyalty, but gives zero in return.

Well we can't overlook the ultimate price paid.

Imagine how many hundred thousand Americans have died from COVID because Trump made them think it was OK to refuse logical pandemic safety precautions such as distancing, masks and vaccines.

Unfortunately for him, a lot of his marks are wising up.

Abe Lincoln was right. You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

I didn't realize the level of devotion until early 2017 when his many campaign promises began to fall apart but his popularity didn't. Like his BS about a fantastic new health care law. What a crock of major con that was that he was able to tell that bold faced lie, and then shift the focus away from it so that it didn't matter. He is a master at manipulating the media.

His most ardent supporters are totally emotional about their support. Logic, facts, reality, etc, not required.

Even with the rest of us making fun of him it doesn't matter to his supporters. Once they are sucked in they tend to stay loyal to him.

I applaud those who have previously supported him and finally had a change of view and decided to withdraw that support. Smart choice.

You tend to comment a lot when people discuss Trump - as though he's irrelevant. He's not. He's one of the frontrunners for '24, and is still a very significant influence over the GOP.
 
Trumps super power is doing his own thinking and being willing to experiment, he is constantly trying new things to see what works.

No one has died from covid19. This virus does not kill.
N95 masks do not stop any virus. Mask mandates are just paradox M.
No vaccine was issued in the United States. The mRNA injections are a treatment, not a vaccine. They CAUSE covid19.
