I think as a Democrat we would be a hell of a lot better off not just being a party of the urban educated allied to diversity. We need to be far more open minded and try to understand that the roots of populism with the white working class has little to do with racism and mysogeny. As a party we need to reach out to working class folks of all stripes, as well as, rural communities.

The failure to do this is multiplied in a purple State like Ohio where the large majority of voters a centrist. The national Democratic Party has decided that Ohio is to lacking in diversity for Democrats to be successful and thus do not invest the parties national resources to Ohio Democratic candidates outside of Colombus, Cleveland and Cincinnati and thus Republican control of all State offices and most national offices has become a self fulfilling prophecy by the Democratic Party. It’s just mind boggling stupid.

For example Tim Ryan’s loss in Ohio’s senatorial race can be blamed squarely on the National Democratic Party who completely failed to support Ryan despite his being in a neck n neck race. It was the same sort of idiocy that cost Hilliard Clinton Ohio in 2016 where her chances were still quite good but the part hacks decided Ohio wasn’t diverse enough and thus Clinton guaranteed herself losing the countries most important bell weather State. This is just complete stupidity by the Democratic Party and is a self inflicted wound.

It isn't ironic, it's mildly sarcastic. My point was that both parties have their share of idiots, morons, brain damaged, and stupid politicians in them. I think the Democrats have the edge there, but that's not the point. The point is that singling out one idiot out of a pack of idiots to rail against is just selective outrage, in this case on the basis of political party.

MAGA obviously cynically calculated they needed a black guy to run against Senator Warnock, and it's remarkable that Hersh Walker is the best black Republican they could find in the entire state.

Dems kicked a candidate off the vice presidental ticket for confessing to treatment for clinical depression. I can see no circumstances that the Democratic party would allow a psychotic wife beater to be their standard bearer.

Yes it is an irony. The fact that you continue to ignore Walker's defects and lack of qualifications due to your political bias is the irony.

Now stop deflecting and address Walker.

If Biden, as you incorrectly claimed, is actually senile (if it is proven to be the case), we will be asking for him to resign.

Also strokes are recoverable. CTEs are not.

I think it is foolish to write off Ohio.

On the other hand, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden came from modest working class roots. Whereas Poppy Bush, George Dumbya, and Donald Trumpf came from rich and privileged roots. So I don't necessarily buy as a tangible fact that the Democratic party is the party of elites. It's only propaganda that makes that narrative effective

I don't ignore his lack of qualification, but rather point out it is not uncommon for our political leaders to be grossly unqualified to perform their job. I'd go so far as to say it's more common that they are professionally, intellectually, and morally unqualified than not.

Biden is senile. It isn't complete senility. Biden is also stupid. That's nothing new, and not that unusual for a politician. Strokes are not recoverable. Stroke victims can regain function to one degree or another, but the portion of their brain damaged by the stroke rarely, if ever, recovers.

Of course, in Fetterman's case you have a NEET that lived in his parent's basement for all intents into his 40's when he became a worthless politician.

There are plenty of examples of this. Biden tells whoppers all the time. Either he cannot remember his own past (eg., he's senile) or he's simply lying his ass off. Examples of this include his claiming he was a truck driver, that his student loan plan was passed by Congress, calling out individuals who are dead or asking a handicapped person in a wheelchair to stand. There's plenty more, and he does it all the time. It isn't some one-off like any normal politician might make mistakenly.

Have rightys ever listened to Biden talk? He speaks in complete sentences and uses an adult vocabulary. That is a huge change from Daffy Donald. Biden is not senile. The senility is a clear lie.
