My take is slightly different; yes, the American electorate are outraged and disgusted with the Democrat agenda, but they were more outraged and disgusted with the Trumpian agenda of division, treason and White Nationalism.

With this I actually agree. There was no message other than Brandon sucks, which we all knew, the party did not give them any reason to vote for them instead. They put back out the only person we know who would lose to Brandon in an election as the "titular head" of the party, he lost, all across the nation he lost.

The party lost the WH to the most unpopular President since Jimmy. Then the party that lost relied on the person who lost to the most unpopular President since Jimmy to push them across the finish line.

IMHO, the first party to get rid of the crazy will win BIG in 2024. If neither does get rid of the crazy... We're just f*cked.

I believe there ARE Republicans who would have a chance against Biden. The problem is they'll never get that far. Trump will eat them for lunch in the primaries. If DeSantis was smart, he would come out, assure the citizens of Florida that he will serve his term, and look to 2028, Unless, of course, Trump is somehow removed from consideration. But an indictment won't slow him down. In fact, it might do the opposite.

There are dino's on both sides. I think Chuck Grassley is being kept alive by infusions of blood from all the constituents he's double-crossed. Mitch McConnel has to wait until his rock warms to at least 75 before he can move in the morning (he's a reptile).

But an inspiring candidate like Obama would energize the Democrat base and likely Independents as well!

The Cowboys lost just now in OT to the Packers. I watched the 2nd half and OT at a Buffalo Wild Wings. It surprised me how many San Antonians were rooting against the Cowboys! Most Texans will be mourning the loss all week.

The old prediction that democracy will fail when the majority of the population votes themselves the treasury is true. What's also true is that when those in power vote themselves the treasury, as they've done, then We, the People, are also in danger of losing our democracy.
