Didn't start it .. but won't sit still for it.
I know you didn't, but let it go, its the biggest insult you can give a person like that!

I like you brother .. but I don't buy into turning the other cheek.
You should be talking to the asswipe that started this .. and good brother, the reason you don't is because you already know he's a moron, not given to sanity.
To put your bigoted remarks that actually started this in context: "College-educated" usually means "white" and why the richest areas are white and the poorest are black.I like you brother .. but I don't buy into turning the other cheek.

Absolutely .. and it's why "college-educated" usually means "democrat" and why the richest states are democrat and the poorest are republican.
and that the Democrats' power base is urban blacks and labor unions......two examples of the most "college educated" people in America.......
You didn't read the data very well. It shows that more Democrats go on for Graduate degrees then Republicans and that the totals for Democrats with some college educaton or more up to including graduate degrees was 38.6% for Democrats compared to 25.6% (in 2003, it would be interesting to see 2008 or 2009 figures if available). According to this table in 2003 there were nearly 50% more Democrats with graduate degrees then Republicans.Lookie here: 34.6% of Republicans have bachelor degrees, v 30.3% of Democrats...

Do you have unemployment stats for conservative professors? I think you are making this up. I am sure there are some Universities that hire more liberal professors like Berkley, and some that hire more conservative, like Princeton or Yale. There is much evidence to support the assertion that hiring of conservative college professors is stifled at most major universities by their overwhelmingly liberal staffs. This blows your theory about tolerance and diversity and by extension, your closed-minded assumption about the right.
What you considered education is just an indoctrination into totalitarian elitist thinking.
Economics especially.
Educated people are often quite stupid and unable to think for themselves.
They are merely good memorizers who can regurgitate the elitist concepts they've been taught. You fall into this category.

This table also shows the radical shift within the Republican party. In 1990 42% of Republicans had bachelors degrees compared to 27.7% in 2003, over a 35% drop.
You have it completely wrong. Our educational establishments have been taken over by globalists. these globalists exploit race and gender issues to maximize their own power.
They want to build a new world order, using america's military, while at the same time subjugating it's people. Since the majority of americans are white, they use racial division to make minorities feel they will personally benefit in the new system, because white people will be destroyed. They're just using hate.
Open mindedness sometimes just means naive idiot. You're probably in this category.
The Black Studies department.
Anti-intellectualism is a form of bigotry in which certain social groups define themselves as "common people" and marginalize "others" as "intellectuals", "Elitist", "City Slickers", "Intelligentsia", etc. It's a form of bigotry that can be racist. Jews and Asians are often stereotyped as "Intellectuals". Tt can also be populist. Some rural and working class people will stereotype urban and educated persons as "Intellectuals".
This can occur for a variety of reasons. Fandamentalist religions tend to promote anti-intellectualism as they often advocate faith and belief over reason and critical thinking.
Authoritarians also tend to be anti-intellectuals as they see educated people as threats because of their tendency to ask questions about existing social norms and because they tend to dissent from established opinion. Since educated people ussually reject nationalism, Authoritarians tend to marginalize them as unpatriotic and subversives.
So look down this list of anti-intellectuals, i.e., the racist, populist, fundamentalist and authoritarians and then look at the present coalition of the Repblican party and tell me, how could anyone be surprized that the Republcian party would be anti-intellectual?
With the Republicans present coalition I'd be amazed if they weren't anti-intellectual.
Most liberal arts colleges have a black r African studies department. Is that even a department? They might have a class devoted to it.
And again, you're talking about the social scientists here. Those guys are the butt of the truly leet's jokes.
Well it sure as hell aint that way in the science department. I worked in the engineering Dept at Ohio State and no greater bastion of anal retentive conservatives exist on this planet. You've also haven't attended medical school or any of the graduate schools in the health arts. The grad school I attended the Proffs were virtually all intensely conservative.
Your question is irrelevant but I'll answer the question that you should have asked: what is common sense? Its the ability to easily see truths as well as cause and effect.
For example, cutting taxes and reducing regulation is good for the economy. Intellectuals tend to mull over this, disbelieve it and try to come up with inane examples to justify their beliefs. Yet common sense tells us that its true, and every time its tried it works.
Oh dude your full of shit. There's truth to the old truism that education is great for ignorance but it does nothing for stupidity and if you had a college degree you'd be living proof of that.
There is no such thing as "common sense". The term is an oxymoron. Just because you have an advanced education does not mean you would have sense. But that does not by default mean that you with your GED by proxy have sense.
Besides, though there is much good to be said for sense, it aint all that it's cracked up to be. If I had listened to "common sense" I'd be married to some over fed, under loved fat bottomed farm girl that grew up next door to me. Instead I listened to my uncommon sense and went half way around the world to marry a beautiful Asian girl that I was head over heels in love with and let me tell you...in this example, common sense was highly over rated.
