The GOP might still make big gains by morning - but clearly, not what they expected. And election deniers in states that aren't deep red are not faring well.

But the biggest development is the HUGE DeSantis win in FL. And no - he is not Trumpism. To national Republicans, he may now represent the path forward for not just the Presidency, but a new direction for the party as a whole.

Trump will spin it - but this wasn't a good night for him. And I'd bet we see a lot less talk about stolen elections from other Republicans.

Democracy may have won tonight. Not calling it, but I feel a lot more positive about the future than I did yesterday.
 
The making of new dollars in the trillions is the only thing keeping America afloat.

From what I gather from the Fox News Panel- PRETTY MUCH! :laugh:

I was wrong and I apologize to the forum for predicting Tim Ryan would win. But, for me, it was sad watching a Good man like him go down to a Trumptard.
oh well, you win a few, you lose a few! He'll be back!

I feel very fortunate for the Democrats to have what they got out of this election. I feel good about the Mid-terms 2022- even if we should happen to loose all the rest not counted.

But, I'm a gravy lover, and everything we win after tonight is GRAVY! And so far, it looks like the Democrats are going to be knee deep in wonderful delicious gravy!

Looks like the Red Wave petered out in Florida- and KAPOOT- END OF STORY!

I am staying up because I believe the Georgia Senate race is about ready to be called. And if that ends up a win for the Democrats, That would be two Senate seats they win tonight.

I think the Senate is now in Blue Wave territory- and holding strong.

This is going to come down to Nevada folks. I am starting to feel safe in Arizona already now.

I think the House will slide over to the Republicans, with a very very small pad of 5 extras- PROBABLY NOT ENOUGH TO GET McCARTHY RE-ELECTED AS HOUSE SPEAKER!

But then- WHO KNOWS YET! The Democrats still have a chance at holding onto the House and it is 1:00 Am now here! :thinking:

Oz just lost. I started a tread on it. It flipped that PA Senate seat blue and sent Oz back to New Jersey.

Hope springs eternal. Not going to happnen. trump's running and he could win the nomination. He won't win the general. twump running will be the dems opportunity to win the presidency in '24.
 
I think DeSantis has shown he has what it takes to shed the lies of demmycrats and succeed.......that is the essence of Trumpism......
