Trump or DeSantis?

As a person who does not like authoritarians for President of the United States, and believes that the free market should be left alone when possible, I really hope the Republicans nominate Trump. Biden can beat Trump nine times out of 10 but I think DeSantis would likely beat Biden.

The (R) primaries in 2024 ought to be interesting. The (R)s know that #TRE45ON is a loser and DeSantis might very well win against whoever the (D)s put up, especially if the economy is still perceived as being poor. How will the (R)s handle this? Dare to discourage Trump so DeSantis gets the nomination, and then risk losing all their down ticket candidates for not supporting the would-be tyrant? Let #TRE45ON get the nomination, and keep their down-ticket wonks?

Except, I believe, if they nominate Trump, we are unlikely to have to eat either one.

I think some of it has to do with whether or not Walker or Oz win. If it’s clear Republicans lost the Senate because of Trump’s choices, there may be a little mini rebellion.

Desantis absolutely over trump. I didn't want trump but you people created him and i had little choice.

Absolutely correct but as of today the trajectory for Biden and dems is looking very poor. Bill Maher is trying to warn you guys but you just won't listen. I think it's just your blood lust for trump that has made you all this irrational.

Biden won't be able to count to ten by the time 2 more years comes around. After the Dems get destroyed in November Biden will drop out of any potential campaign for pResident in 2024./

Where Obama bin laden was after 2 years and where Brandon is after 2 years aren't remotely similar. Joe is far less charismatic, is an obvious dolt and thinks are worse economically. But it's true that 2 years is an eternity in politics. Look at the first bush his approval rating was 90+% but lost because he broke his promise.

If Garland refuses to indict Trump then Biden is a completely failed presidency.

I know it by the way you are talking. Your ilk saw Obama 2 years in, as a weak inexperienced man who bit off more than he could chew. You saw him as small compared to Bush (who your ilk idolized almost as much as you do Trump) and you felt he was unskilled and only got to be president due to his color, and you felt people would realize that before the next two years.

Just like you see Biden as old and demented. Its what you are fed. They said Biden could not even come out of his basement and would never be elected President.

I disagree, even if Biden were to resign now, he got an Amazing Supreme Court Justice and an historic infrastructure bill passed.

He has led the effort to prevent Russia from taking more land and power.

You see him as old and demented because Trump and his crew told you to see him that way. (He is old, Trump is almost as old) He is not demented, he is the same old Joe Biden the gaffer.
