We all knew Johnson would claim to have rehabilitated his reputation, but this is insane. It has been six weeks.

Johnson resigned to avoid a byelection. If the Tories return him to office, a byelection will have to be called. The condition on postponing the byelection would have been cancelled.

Are the Tories sure they will do well in a byelection?

lol.....they gave her a whole six weeks, half of which the government was shut down for the queen's funeral.......gosh, she hadn't solved all the problems already?......
 
Boris has a 1000% chance of coming back over Trump coming back here!

AT least the man is not being sued by 100 different people and has every federal law agency investigating him.

Hasn't the UK learned from its lesson at running with idiot Boris at being out of touch with reality, incapable of either supporting or coexisting in a civilized society? Additionally, the ignoramus Boris failing to respect the dignity of all of humanity, and who failed to know his fascist ass from a hole in the ground?

If she had just not solved any problems, she would have a 6 to 12 month honeymoon where she would be relatively popular. She made everything ten times worse in almost no time. She decided to do a bunch of unfunded tax cuts, just like the Republicans always propose. Worse yet, she decided to not have the Treasury rate them. The market wanted no part, and now the British economy is on the verge of free fall.

You are right about the timing. Technically it was 6 weeks, but it was de facto 3 weeks. Truss failed more in 3 weeks than anyone thought was possible. If trump had gotten out of bed more, he could have failed that badly too.
