*YAWN* And he is still Johnson. The agreement was a byelection would be put off, if he was not Prime Minister. As I mentioned, the Tories can select Johnson as Prime Minister, but it means a byelection they will lose badly.

Nothing has changed in Johnson's favor in the last 6 weeks. If anything, the British are less favorable to a wild leader.

I will dumb things down for you. Six weeks ago, Johnson had to resign, or Tories would be forced into a byelection. Has anything changed in the last six weeks that put either Johnson or the Tories in a better light?

So you have no answer. It is fairly simple, nothing has changed for the better since when Johnson was forced to resign. The Tories are in a much worse position, but that is not for the better.

The former Prime Minister remains popular with vast swathes of the Conservative Party.

Half of Conservative voters think the Tories made a mistake by ditching Boris Johnson earlier this year. New polling by TechneUK for Express.co.uk shows 49 percent of those who backed the party at the last general election believe MPs were wrong to oust their former leader.

The findings come as Mr Johnson prepares to stage a sensational comeback.

The ex-Prime Minister is flying back from his holiday in the Caribbean in order to launch his campaign to replace Liz Truss.

Just seven weeks after departing No10, a significant number of Conservative MPs have gone public in calling for Mr Johnson's return.

Rishi Sunak is thought to have lost the last leadership election to Liz Truss in part because he was blamed for stabbing his old boss in the back when he resigned on 5th July.

However, there is a growing coalition of Conservative heavyweights who have vowed to back the former Prime Minister, before he's even announced his intentions to run.

On Friday Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said he was "leaning towards" backing his former boss.

He said: "This will be potentially our third prime minister since the general election of 2019.

"That means we have to think about that legitimacy question that the public will be asking themselves, and also about who could win the next election.

Many Conservative MPs have threatened to dump the party rather than accept a proven liar and hypocrite as their leader. The opposition, morally-bereft itself under an overt supporter of Israeli crime and Brexit, waxes lyrical against his selection while secretly hoping that the Tories really are stupid enough to select a much-reviled buffoon . Bozo is currently still under investigation for lying to his parliament and deliberately misleading it. The world at large will piss itself laughing if the Brits select an , unelected , leader who is , almost immediately, forced to resign if found guilty.
