The thing about sending supplies is that if the Ukrainians are not willing to fight for their country, the supplies will be meaningless. It is the Ukrainians who are making the decision that they do not want to just surrender to Putin, and they are the ones sacrificing for it.
Republicans want to cut off supplies to force a Putin victory. They hope that by showing weakness, it will convince world that we are not a threat, and can easily be defeated.
The alternative is a bit of supplies. It is not like Americans are dying, or even that it is costing that much.
You supported your positions with two contradictory "facts". At least one of them is untrue. That is just a fact.

Gas drives a majority of power plants in this nation. Without it you cannot transport anything to final markets. You can't fly. You can't heat your home.

Oil makes up a small percent of our economy, and I was talking about oil production. So high oil prices are great for Saudi Arabia, because that is their entire economy, but bad for America (in general), because while much of our economy is based on oil consumption, only a tiny bit is based on oil production.
That is true even though we are a net oil exporter. That tiny bit of net oil exporting will not make up for losing the rest of our economy.
The fact you do not understand this means that you probably should not be listened to.
OK, you appear to be talking about gasoline here, because you claim it is necessary for driving. It is a tiny percent of electrical production. Even if you are talking about natural gas, not used much in transportation, it is not a majority of electricity production, but merely a third.
Russia has been stopped, temporarily. If we pull out support now, Putin can start winning again. Do you think the Ukrainians can stop him again? How much more will it cost to try to stop him again?
