I posted back in July that it was a legitimate target and vulnerable, only surprised that it wasn't attacked before now.

The bridge looks damaged, not destroyed. And, this looks accidental, IMO.

It would more likely be a neutron bomb in my opinion. Someone suggested that he might set off a bomb on Snake Island.

Highly doubtful.

1) Russia no longer is in control of 'Snake Island'.
2) It's 20 miles from the cost of Ukraine.
3) Romania is within 23 miles of 'Snake Island'.
4) the only neutron bomb Russia has is atop their A-135 ABM's.
And they only have 10 kt warheads.
That's much less than even Little Boy produced (16 kt).

They are going to have to drop it a LOT closer to civilization.

Yes that's exactly right, a small yield bomb which can kill people but not destroy infrastructure. It's would be a demo designed to intimidate the Ukrainians.

The point is that you said they would 'set off a bomb on Snake Island'.
Impossible as they no longer control the island.
They cannot just 'set the bomb on the island and set it off'.
They would have to use a military attack system to get it there.
Like a bomber or a missile.

Plus, if any direct fallout hits Romania (which is only 24 miles from 'Snake Island')?
That would be a direct attack against NATO.
Which would give NATO the excuse they need to directly, enter the war.
That would be a galactically, stupid thing for Putin to do.
I doubt even he is THAT dumb.

He obviously would make certain that he hits something with zero chance of direct, radiation fallout to a NATO country.

Neutron bombs are designed to not produce fallout but radiation over a small area like a city centre or a military barracks.

Show me a link to a respected site that says SPECIFICALLY that a 'neutron bomb is designed to produce ZERO/NO fallout'?

You clearly do not even know what neutron bombs are.

Neutron bombs are designed to produce GREATER levels of certain types of radiation.
They are called enhanced radiation weapon's (ERW).

They were designed to produce, intense radiation that would penetrate Warsaw Pact tanks (that had NBC protection) and kill their crews.
With 'REDUCED' fallout/destruction for use in West Germany battlefields.

The only nuclear weapon that could even, theoretically, produce almost no fallout is a pure, fusion bomb.
And that has not been invented yet.
