Ukraine urged to destroy Russia's bridge to Crimea

Men and weapons right now but in time Putin will be forced to withdraw from all occupied territories in Ukraine. He's going for broke,he's all in and the tide is turning as new weapons and ammunition are arriving in theater courtesy of NATO countries as we speak.

It's my understanding that the weapons shipments are being destroyed as fast they enter Ukrainian territory. Those that do escape the Russians' observation have to travel across the full width of the country to the eastern theater. I could be wrong. So could you. We'll find out soon enough.

Have a link? That's news to me.

The destruction of Ukrainian weapons stores are frequently reported by Al Jazeera.

An article from June 12th isn't exactly evidence of your previous statement of "It's my understanding that the weapons shipments are being destroyed as fast they enter Ukrainian territory."

There are no Ukrainian or NATO troops on Russian sovereign soil, nor are there indications, plans, or rumors that there will be.

It's empty threats from the notorious war criminal Vlad Putin .
JFC.. would you PLEASE TUNE IN??

The thread is about blowing up the Kerch Strait bridge, and Putin's response

It was simply the first al Jazeera report that came to hand.

Ukraine claims it has killed ANOTHER Russian general in strike with deadly US-donated HIMARS missile-system as another massive explosion rocks Kherson ammunition depot

Ukraine has blitzed a Russian ammunition depot using US-donated HIMARS missiles, sending the warehouse into a huge fireball in the latest hammer blow to Putin's war campaign.

At least seven people were killed in the deadly strikes, including Chief of Staff for the 22nd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Artem Nasbulin, another high-profile Kremlin casualty.

Dramatic footage shows a fireball eruption and mushroom cloud in Novaya Kakhovka in the occupied Kherson region after the rockets blasted into the depot where saltpeter is stored for fertiliser and explosives.

Russia has acknowledged the strikes, with Vladimir Leontyev, an appointee of the military-civilian administration of the occupying forces, saying it was carried out was by HIMARS missiles, with dozens injured.

The hits are on a region where Russia is handing out its passports to locals and seeks to incorporate the region under permanent Kremlin control, but which Ukraine is vowing to take back.

In footage released by Ukraine, the US-donated High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems - which can hit targets up to 50 miles away - can be seen striking near Nova Kakhovka power plant.

Before the light multiple rocket launcher arrived, the Russian-occupied southern city of Kherson was out of range for Ukrainian forces.

It was also used in an earlier attack near Kherson in which a total of 12 Russian officers, including a colonel, were also said to have been killed when the US-supplied missiles hit their command post.

NATO and US weapons are indeed getting to the front. Following is same timeframe as your article.

"It is an almost everyday occurrence in the Russian-occupied parts of eastern and southern Ukraine.

Russia’s ammunition depots blow up, with large fires erupting as tons of ordnance detonate for hours. Some of these incidents cause giant blasts with a radius of hundreds of meters.

Now that Ukraine has acquired advanced Western artillery and rocket systems, it has gradually begun a campaign to take out Russia’s key military infrastructure. Over the last four weeks, nearly 20 Russian ammunition depots in Russian-occupied Donbas and Ukraine’s south, including some of the largest, have been hit or completely destroyed"

No government on the planet outside of the Kremlin recognizes Russia's sovereignty over Crimea. That bridge was built, in part, on Ukranian sovereign territory and territorial waters.

Putin has issued so many empty threats it's impossible to take him seriously

you said that. i already responded to same

I just finished the Peterson video, he makes two mistakes:1) Considering Russia Western (It is much more Eastern)

Peterson needs Putin to be the great defender of the West for his ideology to work.

2) He seems to not understand that Russia is a junior partner in The New Chinese Empire, which is the real enemy of the West, not Russia.

China has absolutely no way to project hard power as far as Ukraine.

Besides, Russia has been doing mass arrests of anyone connected to China... So their "partnership" is not as close as you claim.

.
It's certainly a legitimate target and Ukraine has the firepower with Harpoon sea skimming missiles now.

General Philip Breedlove, who was supreme allied commander for Europe from 2013 to 2016 said an attack could be launched with newly supplied Harpoon missiles. Sir Philip said that an attack could be a devastating blow for the Kremlin as it links mainland Russia with Crimea which, according to Moscow, was incorporated into the Russian Federation in 2014.

The General told The Times the bridge is a "legitimate target" due to Russia's ongoing aggression towards Ukraine.

He said: "Kerch bridge is a legitimate target.

"It doesn’t surprise me at all that the Russians are concerned about Kerch bridge. It’s incredibly important to them.

"Now that the West has given Ukraine [sub-sonic, sea-skimming cruise] Harpoon missiles [with a range of up 200 miles] I think the Russians have every reason to be worried about Ukraine launching an attack on the bridge.

Wow, looks like the Ukrainians have actually done it!

Putin suffers major blow as key Crimea bridge hit by huge blast and collapses into sea

Ukraine's media reported an explosion on the bridge early this morning at 6am, while Russia's RIA state news agency said a fuel tank was on fire.

Vladimir Putin suffered a major blow to his war efforts after parts of The Kerch Strait Bridge collapsed, according to reports. The bridge was built in 2018 and designed to link Crimea to Russia's transport network. It is a vital supply route for Russia's southern army in Ukraine, which has been coming under increasing pressure from a Ukrainian counteroffensive in recent weeks.
