‘There Are Two Americas Now: One With a B.A. and One Without’

A lot of this description fits the Hillbilly Elegy book/movie explanation of the Trump movement. It was written by J. D. Vance who was anti-Trump but now the Republican candidate for Senate in OH.

Meth and fentanyl are terrible drugs. Notice that Trumpers only care about those drugs and not heroin, ecstasy or other drugs.

BAs have become the butt of jokes and for good reason.

Heck, I have one and its been as useless as claimed.

So yes, its easy to see that the left have an over abundance of BAs while the right has an over abundance of BSs.

Any wonder why its the left begging for student loan forgiveness ? Cant make enough money to make the payments.

Soooo....your failure to launch is your degree? I have a BA in Psychology. It's just a foot in the door. The rest was up to me.

Winners take responsibility for their own lives. Losers blame others.

Case and Deaton contend that the ballots cast for Donald Trump by members of the white working class “are surely not for a president who will dismantle safety nets but against a Democratic Party that represents an alliance between minorities — whom working-class whites see as displacing them and challenging their once solid if unperceived privilege — and an educated elite that has benefited from globalization and from a soaring stock market, which was fueled by the rising profitability of those same firms that were increasingly denying jobs to the working class.”

Education divides everything, including connection to the labor market, marriage, connection to institutions (like organized religion), physical and mental health, and mortality. It does so for whites, Blacks and Hispanics. There has been a profound (not yet complete) convergence in life expectancy by education. There are two Americas now: one with a B.A. and one without.

And now the B.A.s want those that don't have them to pay for the B.A. s of others.

Meanwhile, intelligent people go learn a trade.

Corporations are getting ready to chop off a lot of college educated white collar staff who contribute little or nothing to the operation....there will be a blood letting.

How many college credit hours you got, bitch? Hmm? I bet under 50.

I got enough for a B.A. and then some.

At one time I planned on making Academia my life, because I'm good at it.

Then I saw my friend living "The American Dream" and dropped out and pursued that. True Story; I never got what he had, but he lost all that 18 mos later and then here I am just making money trying to get where he was, and making more money

than he did in the process. He's doing fine to this day; I'm sure. I'm still a little pissed about him throwing my Tesla CD off the Skyway. He lost that white picket fence with the house and the kids though. Perhaps because the woman was a slut.

The boys never disclaimed him as Dad, though. Kids know right from wrong inherently. I still know his big boys' names to this day. I know they love me too, because I did right by 'em. They love and respect their dad for the same reason.

People who know how to work and learned how to do something useful are making bank right now....there are not enough of those people.

Those with a bachelor's degree make more than $1 million more than non degree workers on average.

I ransacked the Michigan State library, which was at the time awesome.

The library was awesome or ransacking it was awesome? You must be one of those Jan6/BLM peaceful demonstrators.

We don't need no stinkin' books. I learned that from watching "Idiocracy."
