NASA cancels Artemis Launch

The Mind Molders dont seem to be in favor of this program....expect NASA to get some major shit over coming weeks.

The Revolution does not generally care much about incompetence but when it aligns with their prefered narratives...

Meanwhile most of the people who were disappointed today probably went home muttering "Well, I am sure they tried".

Accountability we refuse to do now.

Buckle Up!

Artemis is - imo - nothing but NASA desperately trying to justify it's existence.

Taxpayers spending tens of billions of dollars to go to the Moon...again.

Yawn!!!

NASA is not necessary any longer.

The private sector can do EVERYTHING NASA can do.
And do it far better and at far, less cost to taxpayers.

NASA should be ended.
And the $20+ billion dollars saved - used to construct/maintain, federal government, homeless shelters in every, major city.
To give emergency shelter to the 552,000+ homeless Americans on our streets.
Including thousands of homeless veterans.

But no, the NASA lovers (principally on the left, it seems) would rather spend that money on going to the Moon...again.
Rather than to help poor Americans have a place to sleep and food to eat.

Blame Obama and his cronies, they made the decision to use leftover engines from the Shuttle and liquid hydrogen as fuel.

America is fucked, we lost quality and now the Universe is punishing us for our dereliction.

Do you understand?

1) Yes

2) No

Shocking I know but NASA is rolling it back off the launch pad, and offers no guidance on launch attempt #3 other than that it will be at least a month.

Next attempt will be Sep 27. I am starting to read that NASA is getting into a situation where they have done so much heavy duty cooling/warming of fuel that they run the risk of metal failure. Presumably they know how many times they can try this, but then again this is NASA 2022.

I meant that the fuel tanks have been through a lot of cooling/warming....the fuel they are using must be very cold. Each launch attempt gets more risky. The engines are chilled as well but I am pretty sure these are old shuttle engines that can take it.

I live in a WOKE dystopia where dissent is not allowed, this I know.
Bullshit. I've been all over America and have dissented plenty of times without a problem. Look at how much dissent I express on this forum.

Why are you afraid of standing up for yourself? Why are you afraid of pissing people off, #10?

You are such a liar.

And a Prick.

Surely it is too much to hope that you have anything both honest and intelligent to say on the thread topic.
America has the tech. It's the funding and focus that matters.

I grew up with the Space Race. This testimony by Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson before Congress is very inspirational for those who still want to live life as a mortal:

“We will launch when we are ready,But mark my words, we are going. When the final go is given, Artemis I will roar to life and soar to the moon.
NASA administrator Bill Nelson

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Performance thus far does not inspire confidence.
