Trump expects a reaction from his supporters that will make Jan. 6 look like a boy scout outing. He's going to be disappointed. The judicial blowback against Jan. 6, with jail sentences galore has poured ice cold water

If that's true (Biden wasn't involved) then this is a bigger awshit clusterfuck than I thought. Doing something this unprecedented should have had Joke in the loop from the getgo. So a federal judge signed off on the warrant. Federal judges and FICA judges signed off on all that Russia collusion bullshit that was fabricated by the DoJ and FBI too. So, it's hardly a stretch to think the DoJ and FBI simply shopped judges to find one that would be sympathetic and not too concerned about the particulars to get a warrant.

You seem to be ignorant of the long standing independence of the Justice Department, in the same way Trump was ignorant of it. It it was that Biden was even briefed on it it would be a HUGE scandal. Biden wanted an AG that would have briefed him on this type of stuff and even they wouldn't do it, Bob Barr and Jeff Sessions took their independence seriously. Just like Merck Garland takes it seriously.

You have no clue of the history of America or the good people who have served it if you believe Garland is the type to have even briefed Biden on this issue.

If it weren't political, Garland could have appointed an independent special prosecutor to do this to avoid any taint that would accompany it, but he didn't.

They are a part of the executive branch but independent in how the behave with regards to specific decisions, especally when related to politics or anything related to presidential politics.

Its why Sessions was fired and why Barr refused to take orders from Trump.
