If you are completely at war with the US Government, then courts are not going to be a certainty, but they still might work for you. There are people who have done amazingly brutal things, and still been allowed to walk away by the courts.

trump needs the US Government to preserve his inheritance. he has no skills of his own, but just government protected property. The last thing he wants is to be at war with the US Government.
