Lower overall costs, not going to bed thinking about a war being started, 401k increases providing more than I need to live on for the year, some sense of patriotism with Trump's push to have things made in America, tariffs on shit imported from a country that wants to take over the world, and lefties all over the country going flat out crazy over the fact Hillary had her election "stolen" all mad for a very restful night.

Not only am I better off now...so is everyone else in America. And a strong case can be made that the entire world is much better off right now.

So yes, prices are up a bit (as they are all over the world, mostly because of the pandemic)...and 401K's are temporarily down...but we do not have a Hitler in the making in our most powerful office. So we all ARE better off now...MUCH BETTER OFF NOW.

Hate is an emotional response. Knowing someone is wrong, evil, dangerous or otherwise a threat to society isn't necessarily an emotional response anymore than shooting a rabid dog in the head.

That is why the left side of the political spectrum wants a more dependable way of seeing that the elderly have enough money for food, clothing, housing, medical care, and other expenses.
