There are 120 guns for every 100 Americans

It's the guns.

Guns are a drug.

Firing a gun releases dopamine in the brain and for some people, that dopamine release can be very addictive.

I think most gun ownership in this country is in fact addiction, and that to combat gun violence, we need to treat firearms the same way we treat drugs like heroin and cocaine, because guns do the same thing.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I think you and people like you are addicted to the feelings you get from holding and firing a gun because biologically, both release highly addictive amounts of dopamine in your brain.

Gun ownership is a mental illness because it's based on addiction to the chemicals your brain releases when you hold and/or fire the weapon.

There is ALWAYS a biological explanation for human behavior, and the biological explanation for gun ownership (and resulting gun violence) is the addiction you and others have to the feelings you get when you hold or fire a gun.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Your psychoquackery is getting much better than Dutch's!

Really whitey ?

The white teenager charged in the race-fueled Buffalo shooting massacre left a chilling note for his parents admitting he was carrying out the attack because he cared “for the future of the white race,” federal prosecutors revealed Wednesday.

FBI agents found 18-year-old Payton Gendron’s note during a raid on his Conklin, New York, home the day after he allegedly shot dead 10 black people and injured three others at the Tops Friendly Market on May 14.

So, it's a topic for discussion. We lead the world in gun ownership, and in gun violence. This is not a coincidence.

It's also not true. We do not lead the world in gun violence and we do not even lead the developed world in mass shootings, we're number 11 in per capita mass shooting deaths and frequency of mass shootings not to mention other mass casualty attacks not involving guns.

I'll stick with this

One of these hangs holstered and loaded on my bedpost (w/6 1/2" barrel)

I was fortunate enough to pick up a slightly used Wilson Stealth at a very good price. I carry it at work and you are correct, we forget the beauty of a single action trigger.

I also have a Colt Buntline (Peacemaker) W/ a 12" barrel (.45 LC), a Colt reproduction of their 1860 Army and a Uberti reproduction of the Remmington 1858 New Army single actions (both .44), to name a few :)

Do as I did and throw those assault weapons in a river.
