That is another thing. My denomination does not build expensive opulent churches. We build modest functional churches. Like stone said the money is better spent on helping people.

That's good to know about you. I don't attend Church much anymore, but when my Mom was alive, I would take her to her favorite church and all of their activities- The Cowboy Church.

Not a lot of fancy dressers there, mostly people would just wear their nice jeans, dress shirts, and cowboy boots. People just looked more comfortable. And then some would dress up like Easter Sunday- every time you saw them. It was one of those churches where everybody knew and liked everybody else there.

Nice folks there, and they all helped each other when or if anyone ever needed anything. Some of my Biker buddies and their wives attend there- and they are mostly professionals by trade.

The Preacher man always had good sermons and made them interesting for all ages, and all races of people attended there.

I highly recommend them.
