Blinged-out Brooklyn bishop robbed mid-sermon

So basically you're saying your definition of an atheist supersedes that of Webster's.
The spelling is irrelevant. I don't care if it's called Gaoism or Chaoism, or FuckOffaoism. It's the belief and more so, the practice that are what's important.
It's why I go to Oriental Healing Arts about once a week. We meditate, practice Qigong, (I'm sure you'll try to correct me on the spelling of that too *roll eyes*)Taichi, some Wushu and get the occasional wisdom of Tao Shih Pei Wo Lun.
All the instructors visit China once a year for additional training. OHA is the real thing.

Aside:
When me and the Mrs. visited Vietnam several years ago and spent the night on a boat on Halong Bay we had an instructor that led the tourists in 10 form Yang TaiChi. I was the only one that could keep up with him effortlessly, with a couple of variations of course. He was so impressed, him and I did a demonstration together of Chen style after he figured out what I could and couldn't do.

I think it's great if you enjoy some watered down version of Daoism.

I've personally always found the attempts of Hollywood stars and affluent whites attempting to co-opt and twist Eastern metaphysical practices to fit a American lifestyle to be fairly superficial and artificial.

We have talked about this.... I see no evidence that the largely ignorant coward Americans will put down this Revolution anytime soon, the future is the Empire.

Let us be very clear on one point, this is a calamity, it pains me that my fellow Americans suck this badly now.

Also, I have been hard on the alarms since the mid 80's.

I did my part.

There is a small but surly group that will NEVER back down. if by chance the Chinese do happen to come out on top all they will inherit is a smoking pile of ash. They will have taken heavy losses and gained nothing.

Not sure how to take that so I'll assume the best and just say "thanks". :dunno:

Are you assuming the practice of Taoism in the West is "watered down" due to meaning lost in translation and culture? AFAIC, Taoism has worked better for me than Christianity. I was raised Baptist, evolved to Episcopalian, > non-spiritual atheist > Taoism.

Power has largely been removed from the people by the Elites who then launched this WOKE Revolution upon us, and you are still found "Just wait till the next election!"

You need to update your brain.

China is determined that America be the Premier Shit-Hole Country of the world under the oversight of the Empire, as justice for our various crimes.

It looks to me like they are well along in that mission.

I have learned a lot from studying the metaphysical systems and philosophies of East Asian and Indian religions.

There is a lot of wisdom and insight to be had from them

How much bling do you own in dollar amount?

I’ve got a watch that my wife bought me that didn’t come from Walmart. If I buy them that’s where they come from… $15 or less. She finally confided that she paid $80 for that one.

This is how I look when I preach…

Daoism, as practiced by the people who actually invented it in China, operates pretty much as a conventional religion with temples, priests, monks, ritual ceremonies, and a pantheon of gods and divinities.

I attended the Taoist Studies Institute in Seattle for many years. What you say is true about the original Taoists, but we don't live in that time or place. Contemporary Daoism is more of a philosophical construct.
