9th Amendment!

The Right to Privacy, while not enumerated is a right retained by the people, but the new abortion decisions said that it cant be, because its not enumerated... they ignored the 9th.

OK, I see where you're coming from. Would you apply this same thinking to the right to self-defense?

I’d have to study it, but for sure we have a right to self defense. It’s alluded to in the Constitution and essential to freedom. As with all rights it must be balanced with other rights.

Using the current ideology of the conservatives in the Supreme Court as applied in the abortion case, we do not have a general right to self defense, but only a specific one as it relates to the right to bear arms in a well regulated militia.

The Amendments get all the attention, but the word "constitution" refers to "that of which something is made."

The primary purpose of our constitution was to create a new government for a new nation.

That government is the oldest continuous running government on the face of the earth now, clearly obsolete, and the extent of its mistakes are now clear to anybody with the courage to see them--
which clearly excludes "true believer" optimists.

The constitution gives wildly excessive power to the rural conservative minority, and now--right now-- we see how fucked up our constitution actually is.
The Confederacy has now overtaken the loyalist states and it's become the Blue States moral duty to secede from them.

The dystopia rapidly gets more intolerable for moral and intellectual people

and more comfortable for devolved and diseased mutant trumpanzees and vile Christian theocrats. The latter two groups clearly overlap.
