A Pyrrhic victory I suspect. Putting the abortion issue aside we now have another problem. Roe vs. Wade had more significance than just abortion. It established a precedent that the right to privacy and bodily autonomy are implied Constitutional right. So what precedent will replace it?

Those of you that complained bitterly about the public health restrictions during COVID. You don’t have a leg to stand on legally at the present. You won’t have that right. OK, how they going to fix that without overturning the Gorsuch decision?

Gorsuch’s reassurance that his decision only pertains to abortion is naive at best and disingenuous at worst as Justice Thomas made clear.

What this decision has done is made privacy and bodily autonomy rights a political football at the State Level which will result in inevitable mayhem that will have unforeseen national consequences. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

That will probably take some time to snowball. I guess we shall see.

i would agree but with vaxx passports, intrusive drug and genetic testing, and now the beginning of the FDA ending nicotine vape -how much bodily autonomy do we have besides the right to an abortion?

I wish we had bodily autonomy to' lose' to start with...

Noem (SC governor) was on Ingram,and she said they are going to go after doctors who send chem abortion thru the mail she uses the word "procedure' interchangably with doseing (drug induced)

This is completely wrong.
A woman should be able to get a prescription thru the mail if the doctor is a licensed clinic/practice

So I get the underpinning (Roe) was conjured up , but the real world consequences of banning abortion
to the point of banning mail order prescriptions in some states is an undue burden.
States shouldn't be able to reach into the mail order drugs calling it an - "abortion procedure"

I didn't know his mother was dead but it isn't in a violation of a rule.

Anyway here's the rule.

12(c) - Language that is sexually violent (e.g. rape/incest/graphic sex details that simply go 'too far') and/or is used in a manner to harass other users may be removed at moderator discretion without notice or apology, and could end up resulting in a ban if we get tired of repeatedly having to edit posts made by the same individuals over and over.

So his mother not being alive wasn't a clue to you. I would say that when you said you had sex with another members mother you were using sexually violent language to harass another member. Since his mother was dead we know you didn't get consent. Bye Bye
