No trend. I never favored Trump on anything just because I disagreed with those who think he can be convicted because they want him convicted. That is a trend toward understanding the law as it has been interpreted, not Trump.
Siding with facts that are not favorable to your views is not the same as supporting that side. The JPP conservatives call me a left-winger and libtard when I disagree with some of their views. The left and right lose their objective view of the facts because their partisan optimism distorts their judgment.
Well said, flash. Too bad more people don't understand that.

No, the Colbert insurrectionists could be tried at the same time. Think of the cst savings.
Obviously text is a poor form of communication. There's no winks, handshake or facial expressions to identify friend from foe.
Ergo, I've found it important to choose one's words carefully. Do you agree?
Agreed on the bolded.
First, a single post is often not a good example of a person's total views. It's dozens of posts to start to form a picture about their views.True. And readers should read those words for their meaning and not try to make presumptions about the writer's political views because he is not willing to summarily execute Biden or Trump. As in voting and other political views, we often rely on emotion and not intellect. In addition, if the writer does support Biden or Trump, that does not mean his statements are not accurate. Many JPP posters want to reject information because it came from a partisan source even though they cannot point out any inaccuracies in the statement.
We do need a sarcasm font.

Second, what they don't say is often as important as what they do say. If a person constantly attacks the Democrats but never the Republicans, it's a fair guess that they favor Republicans.
Agreed that people can be wrong through misunderstanding and, due to that misunderstanding, end up pushing a lie. The 1/6 Committee is pointing this out with Trump; he was told numerous times by his own people that he lost a fair election yet he kept pushing the Big Lie. Same for his fans on JPP.
Agreed. That is why I challenged those calling me a Trump supporter to show one post that supported or defended Trump. Attacking an inaccurate claim made by Democrats is not the same as attacking Democrats. We have some JPP posters who are extremely critical of all politicians. I have made several arguments that Democrats and Republicans are no different in the methods they use to accomplish their goals (although their goals may differ).

Nor did he suggest doing it illegally. I'm sure he didn't care, but that is not proof in a criminal case. For four years the left claimed he was going to jail for that week's. "He is through now".....etc. Mueller, business dealings, IRS, Ukraine, collusion, emoluments, 1st and 2nd impeachment.
We have to beat Trump politically. He is not going to jail.
It is funny how important it is for you to pretend you are not a conservative. Pathetic, really.
You have an odd obsession to (mis)label people. Learn the difference between conservative and libertarian.
The simple fact Trump conspired to make this happen and then, after stirring up his mob with militia agitators mixed into crowd, he launched them at the Capitol. The evidence shows that he knew it was illegal when he did it but he chose to do it anyway.
you're all bullshit
Then there should be no problem prosecuting and convicting him.
What evidence shows he knew it was illegal when he did it? What specific act was illegal and what element of what law does it violate?
Check the case history of what "stirring up a crowd" requires. If I tell a crowd I want you to meet here in the morning and attack the Capitol and they do it, I did nothing illegal.
But you can never offer any facts to support your silly accusations. We know you have reached that point when you start spouting insults. You just repeat partisan talking points you heard someplace.
Agreed in a fair justice system. However, on the Federal level, this is very political. Most Republicans still believe the election was rigged. They've bragged repeatedly about dismissing everything when they retake Congress in November. Is that justice? No, it isn't.
I am smarter than you. I am better informed than you.
Smart people don't have to tell others they are smart. They show them through facts rather than insults. Insults are for those who have run out of substantive arguments.
