Yeah, Abbott was really worried about the safe condition of trucks, no wonder you swallow the Big Lie
Google Texas v. White 1869 SCOTUS decision.
Einstooge.
The Confederacy no longer exists. Why are you pointing to this case????!?
No, the Supreme Court does not have authority to change the Constitution or have any jurisdiction at all over a foreign power.
Yes, it is his inherent right to have both if he so chooses.Oh, so if some guy wants clayborn mines and a tank to defend himself it is his God given right to have both, get real, “dude”
No need. He's already allowing aliens from all over the world to invade Texas, in violation of the US Constitution... Same with Arizona... Same with numerous other states. Plenty of these aliens have even invaded Wisconsin.Biden to invade Texas.
“Texas Republicans are pushing for a referendum to decide whether the state should secede from the U.S.”
“The demand for Texans to be allowed to vote on the issue in 2023 was one of many measures adopted in the Texas GOP's party platform following last week's state convention in Houston.”
“Under a section titled "State Sovereignty," the platform states: "Pursuant to Article 1, Section 1, of the Texas Constitution, the federal government has impaired our right of local self-government. Therefore, federally mandated legislation that infringes upon the 10th Amendment rights of Texas should be ignored, opposed, refused, and nullified.”

Could the rest of the country be so lucky?
I wonder how they will finance their government?
Texas currently receives about $1.45 for every dollar they pay to the US federal government.
What will they do?
Raise taxes on the rich?
ROTFL
Will they then wish to build walls on all of their borders?
Most of that $1.45 is for military bases. Not really a "gift" to Texas since those bases need to exist somewhere.
That said, yes, those bases would have to leave IF Texas seceded....which it won't. It's a bullshit argument to even bring it up. Those people are fucking morons.
Hello Dutch,
Gotta pander to extremists if ya wanna be a big star in the Republican party these days.

But, but, but, don’t people have an “inherent right” to go anywhere they want to?
