I've never advocated for ridding law enforcement and the military of any weapons they might need to protect US citizens.
I don't want to get rid of all guns either.
I just want to tighten up the laws re: manufacture, sale and ability to purchase, as well as increasing liability for those who allow their guns to easily be stolen due to their own negligence.
