Border agents from 'whipping' incident to be disciplined despite being cleared

First off, criminal investigations do not clear people of criminal conduct. It is impossible to clear anyone of criminal conduct. They merely decide if there is enough evidence to continue with a criminal case. That is an entirely different set of rules, and standard of proof from avoiding punishment on your job.

If the border patrol agent feels he has been unfairly punished, he can appeal the case. I doubt he will.
semantics. You sound like Mueller "we cant clear Trump"
Point of law if an investigation fails to indict that is clearing of charges = one and the same
You keep talking about punishment, but there is nothing they did wrong and havent been doing for years

What's different then? Biden - he said they would be "punished" regardless of what any investigation showed
There's the reason - and yes the union already said they will appeal a likely suspension

Border agents have very little security and protection job now, they are essentially a resettlement agency now, without the consent of the America people because while most of us have been lectured most of our life constantly on the importance of consent our owners (Carlin) dont believe in it.

this actually might have more to do with border patrol higher ups severely criticizing the biden admin over border enforcement............biden payback?

Biden is trying to punish the very border agents who are trying to defend the border against, the illegal invasion, drugs, drug gangs, MS-13, human traffickers and terrorists.

A failure to indict can be revisited until the statute of limitations runs out (with many federal charges that is forever). If you have a not guilty verdict, then you cannot be criminally charged in that case again.

Either way, you are still open to workplace administrative punishment, and even civil cases.

Biden is committed to open borders -that's all they care about.
criminals and human smuggling and drug running are a small price to pay for their agenda

Migrant encounters at southern border hit another all-time high under Biden

so you take 3 posts to inform me the difference between administrative law/ procedures and criminal indictments; yet you can't point to anything the agents did..but dont worry about it.
Mayorkas will find something, or just make it up..
It's in the cards - they are already signaling they are gonna invent something

You do realize he was against illegal immigration don't you?

Thanks for playing. Try again.
"[T]he illegal aliens are doubly exploited, first because they are farm workers, and second because they are powerless to defend their own interests," he wrote. "But if there were no illegals being used to break our strikes, we could win those strikes overnight and then be in a position to improve the living and working conditions of all farm workers."
He promised that United Farm Workers would support legalization for the undocumented, "our brothers and sisters."
