This one is the quote of the day among SO many classic quotes that demonstrate just how clownish and stupid the coup plotters turned out to be. When Jeffrey Clark arrived at the White House to grovel and kiss Trumps ass in hopes of becoming the AG, acting AG Rosen and his deputy Richard Donahue rushed to the Oval Office before Clark and Trump were able to shit all over the Constitution. Donahue was quick to point out to Trump that Clark had never conducted a criminal investigation and had never argued in front of a jury, much less a grand jury. In other words, Donahue pointed out to Trump that he was about to install an incompetent sycophant to serve as the top law enforcement officer of the United States. And if he did so, there would be mass resignations at DOJ. He then launched that zinger towards Clark, who retreated with his taiil between his legs, crawling like the spineless jellyfish that he is.

The depth of Trumps desire to remain in power are staggering, and yet the Trumptards here continue to defend him and act like nothing happened. And Democrats are continuing to kick ass and take names, which is why democracy is dead. But it sure is enjoyable to see just how laughable this clown show really was.

I have been seeing that. But you know what? You know how sometimes lawyers lie to make themselves look good? That sounds like too cool of a "movie type" line to be true.

I hope it is! I'd like to believe that MAGA shit head was beaten back like the Nazi bitch he is. I'd love it if it was on tape... OH.. my testicles would surly recede if that only were the case!!!

This was, I believe, provided in a sworn deposition. So I absolutely believe it. The entire conversation was outlined in that deposition. Clark had a letter that was to be signed by Rosen and Donahue. They refused of course. Because the letter basically said that DOJ was backing the Big Lie. Trump gave the loyalty test to Rosen and Donahue in that Oval Office meeting. They both basically told Trump to fuck off.

This Trumps (pun intended} the other magnificent quote that emerged from yesterday. 'Get yourself a good fucking criminal lawyer. You'll need it'. He was right. There is no way Eastman and Clark escape indictment.

The part that is too hard to believe is that one major political party doesn't seem to care. In fact, they seem to hope he gets away with it next time. No, that's wrong. They are ACTIVELY trying to help him get away with it next time.

I don't think we can use the trolls on this site as a bellwether for America's population. The Republicans on this site are all Tucker Carlson but with Alex Jone's communications style.

I think the majority are waking up and realizing what that guy twump is, finally.

I wish you were right. I don't think you are. Take a look at last nights results. Trump got his revenge in spades. Republicans do what they're told.

I believe the AG is doing his job. I also believe that it is completely inappropriate for Biden to pressure him. We've seen that movie, and it doesn't end well. That being said, I think what Garland does or doesn't do is moot. This isn't about the past, and the AG has nothing to say about crimes that haven't yet been committed. Nor does he have any Voting Rights statute to aide him in the future.

The grand jury in Georgia is about to indict trump for bullying Brad for votes. His business is under a microscope by the Southern Dist. of NY.

I don't think donny's enjoying life much right now.

I doubt Donny has ever enjoyed life. It's the curse of every narcissist. He still has far too much sway. He got revenge on two sitting US Representatives last night in South Carolina, and I believe one in Nevada. They still worship him. The cult is a alive and thriving.
