A poll that was biased Democratic found that the same people liked Obama's plan better after the speech. It definitely shows an overall increase. Not a 22-point overall, but not nothing either. Your refusal to read the poll correctly just shows how desperate you guys are.

An internets poll on the Fox News website, indicates that the Obamas speech changed the minds of a massive 8% of the respondents on healthcare.

That or they all managed to push the wrong button.

It's the independents who don't want it and the elderly. A poll of their opinions would matter.

borders are an issue of "equity"?....then pass a law that says it's okay for anyone who wants to live here to come live here.....then pass a law that everyone who lives here has to have insurance.....don't pretend the illegals aren't here and that we don't need to address the issue in health reform.....

My comment about the right not wanting equity is not just about borders.

I agree that illegals are here and that issue needs to be addressed in healthcare. But I do not agree that any sanity on this issue can be accomplished by talking to people who only have hyperbole to contribute. .. which I'm not accusing you of.

If illegals are here, and they are .. they must have access to healthcare .. not just for their benefit, but for the benefit of the entire country. Anything less is not only mindless .. it's ungodly.

NO LAW has been passed or even advocated that says they will be granted the same access to healthcare that you have .. and none will be passed that does. Suggesting that is what Obama is planning belongs in the same toliet with "death panels."

You speak of illegals as if they are somehow an anomaly to American society or that they don't contribute to American society and our economy. I don't get that .. unless of course you are simply uninformed .. no disrespect intended.

not only now do they want us who work to take care of those who don't, but they also want us to work, to take care of our families, the poor who live here, and now the illegal immigrants..
