"Leading up to the bill's signing, critics, which include The Walt Disney Company, lambasted Florida lawmakers for the legislation.
"On Monday, a spokesperson said in a statement that the company hopes the law is repealed or struck down in court.
"Florida's HB 1557, also known as the 'Don't Say Gay' bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law," the statement read. Vaccines greatly reduce transmission of COVID. Those who would have contracted the disease without being vaccinated mostly do not get COVID, and thus they never become infectious or spread it to anyone else.
The scientific and medical communities are very strongly in agreement that vaccines are the best way to protect people from the risk of contracting COVID.
The rumor mills downtalking vaccines are dangerous, and have led to the needless deaths of thousands of Americans such as these:
A trio of conservative radio hosts died of Covid. Will their deaths change vaccine resistance?
"First it was Dick Farrel. Then Phil Valentine. Most recently, Marc Bernier. Just within the past month, those three conservative radio hosts — all unvaccinated critics of inoculation efforts — died after contracting Covid.
Will their deaths help sway any minds of unvaccinated listeners or the broader segment of conservatives resistant to the shots?"
-Apparently not for everyone. Every dumb rumor has it's devotees and hold-outs who want to believe so badly they simply refuse to listen to common sense.

The first event in the decades-long feud was the 1865 murder of Randolph’s brother, Asa Harmon McCoy, by the Logan Wildcats, a local militia group that counted Devil Anse and other Hatfields among its members. Many people—even members of his own family—regarded Asa Harmon, who had served in the Union Army during the American Civil War, as a traitor. While some have surmised that his murder set the stage for the feud, most historians now see this incident as a standalone event.
