No- my views have been clearly laid out from the outset. In my view Russia could not afford to lose and so would go to maximum lengths in order to win.
The Zelenskies couldn't win , particularly as so many Ukrainians are pro-Russian, and so the best course should have been surrender, accept that NATO was never, ever going to be a Ukrainian option and guarantee that to the Russians- who would have been happy to simply recognize the independence of Donetsk and Lughansk and gone home, I believe. Nobody dead, no razed cities.

That would have meant that commercial co-operation with Europe continued- a red-line for Biden- the prosemitic dotard that the Democrats backed instead of Sanders. Tch. Tch.

Russia couldn't afford to invade, but unfortunately their leader is a absolute moron, and did it anyway, and now their military has been exposed as a paper tiger, and their people are falling into abject poverty. The hope is that they find a way to take Putin out before too long. But, in the meantime, alt-right posters like you will obediently line up to try to make it sound like Russia had no choice here. They have a choice each and every day, and are choosing to continue their fascist war against Ukraine.

I have no particular feelings about Zelensky one way or the other. But I do take a strong stance against fascist dictators who start wars of expansionism, like Putin. That's what upsets you.

I do not support the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands by Israel. But, I'm also not interested in your attempts to derail the discussion to obscure your apologetics for Putin's fascist war on Ukraine.

Unwanted invaders of other people's countries can come from a wide variety of political systems. They can be fascists, of course, but also theocrats, monarchists, communists, and so on.

In the case of Putin, though, he fits the fascist template really well. He's an anti-Semitic wannabe strongman with a cult of personality and a blood-and-soil outlook, looking to gain Lebensraum for his Volk by conquering a weaker neighbor. And, like his ideological predecessors, Franco, Mussolini, Hitler, et al, he's fervently supported by far-right-wing Americans.
