Did he? "Officially" trump moved the embassy to make up for his betrayal of Israel. But the de facto embassy remained Tel Aviv with the rest of the diplomats. There was a sign hung up at the Jerusalem Consulate saying that it was now an embassy. They did not take down the sign at the Tel Aviv embassy saying it was an embassy, and nothing else changed.

Not only did Pres. Trump officially move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, but he officially recognized Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel. No reason to put "offically" in quotes. Making it official U.S. policy is the whole point.

Tel Aviv is now just an embassy branch.

Kuwait isn't a liberal democracy but their living standards and per capita GDP are above any country save for maybe Singapore or Norway but you wouldn't want to be a non-citizen resident alien there

Is Caucasian just the people of the Caucusus? Or anyone of light-skinned European descent. Do light-skinned Hispanics count?

And what's "first world"? Do Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain count? How about Aruba? It's richer, in GDP/capita terms, than Portugal and Greece, for example. How about Iran? In GDP/capita terms, it's richer than a few European countries, like Poland, Croatia, and Romania.

And what percentage of the population has to be of the particular group for the country as a whole to count as it? The Cayman Islands are 40% mixed, 20% Black, 20% White, and 20% Asian. What do they count as?

And what counts as a country? Is Bermuda a country?

I'm not a Democrat. Anyway, I don't think "race" is a serious way of thinking of things in the international context, since it's a culturally-defined convention, rather than a biological reality. In a particular time or place, particular people will be perceived as belonging to this or that group.

OK. That's an odd definition for "first world," since there are a number of countries normally thought of as first-world that wouldn't qualify, due to scale. Like Monaco, San Marino, Malta, Iceland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein are all quite advanced, but none are doing what I'd consider "large scale modern manufacturing." Like those places have less manufacturing output than Haiti, Uganda, and Senegal, which are typically considered third-world. For that matter, Belgium has less manufacturing output than Philippines, but most would consider Belgium first-world and Philippines third. Likewise with Switzerland vs. Indonesia, for example. I tend to think of the first-world category more in terms of living standards, regardless of how they are achieved.
