I have not had a ticket since buying an escort redline 7 years ago. But none have that has anything to do with what I stated. They can arrest you for unpaid tickets. Even though they will let you out when the tickets are paid, that can take days. If you have a history of running from tickets, they might not let you get out until the check fully clears.
