Govt about to mandate SPEED LIMITERS on commercial vehicles over 26,000 pounds

If the speed limit is 55, i have a right to do that in the left lane all i want. Why don't you stop breaking the law.

In many situations, the left lane is for passing. You do not have the "right" to block people who want to pass you. The roads are for safely driving, not you expressing your emotions.

HAHAHA. Hey moron. How are you going to enforce a law like that? How are you going to establish in a court of law what the surrounding traffic was doing at that particular monent? THINK, you stupid moron tranny.

How do the police catch people who run red lights? They either witness it, or better yet have a video of it.

If I'd have kept my CDL, I could find a job bumping docks for $80,000 plus benefits and a $6000 sign on bonus. That's what I know.
What does “bumping the docks” mean, not familiar with that terminology, thanks.

Here in Texas, there are signs that inform you left lane is for passing, slower traffic needs to keep right or be fined.

Where the terminal unloads your trailer. All you have to do is open and shut the doors and back the trailer in until you "bump" the dock. Some call it no-touch freight.

That is the law in all states, but often is not posted on signs. And it is just simple human decency. Taking the law into your own hands, and blocking someone you feel is going too fast is just morally wrong. Someone in the car could be having a medical emergency, and needs to get to the hospital. Or a dozen other things. Texting Driver neither the police nor a judge, so should not be trying to penalize drivers who have nothing to do with him.

And it is dangerous. Let the other driver pass, and go on with your life.

The issue is your claim that drivers must keep up with "surrounding traffic". What does that even mean?. It's like passing a law that says drivers must drive safely at all times!!!

you can't think

it creates a caste system on the roads.

horrible idea. so now a semi will be sitting in the fast lane going 50.5 mph for 20 miles as they pass the truck going 50.25 mpg

road rage mounts - and people die from being pissed off

HAHAHA. There is no way to enforce such a law, you simpleton. As long as there is other traffic on the road, you can always say you were passing someone.

HAHAHA. So now the board moron is saying there should be no speed limits because someone might have a medical emergency and need to speed.!!! That's space alien talk you blithering idiot.

No, actually you do not. You have to go above the minimum speed, but you are not required to go the same speed as surrounding traffic. In fact, you are required to go a safe speed, which may be slower than surrounding traffic.

What you do need to do is move to the right when possible to let faster cars pass you.

There are laws saying you must drive safely all the time. Intentionally driving unsafely is against the law, even if you obey all the specific laws.

you can't think

Thinking is very important to driving safely. Knowingly driving impaired is against the law, even if it is not from drinking.
