The problems go back to the start of trump's war on our trade partners.
People tend to forget the long waits for appliances from China, along with the 20% increase in prices. Likewise for many other products that we simply don't manufacture here. There are still long waits for plastic plumbing supplies. Covid multiplied the China issues.
If you remember, the moment Obama took office, he was blamed for Iraq.
Ironic how trump took credit for many of Obama's accomplishments, and shirked all blame for his own fuckups.
I doubt you believe your own bullshit.
One thing Obama "accomplished" was taking almost every affordable post-ww2 vehicle off of American roads and driveways.
He reduced the number of vehicles that people could afford. The youngers can't buy a 1998 Grand Prix, because the previous owner sold it it for $4k (paid for by taxpayer money) then it was scrapped and the steel shipped to China.
So yeah, he killed the used car market and subsequent support industries of that. (mechanics, body men, detailers, auto parts suppliers)
All in one big Bah Fongula to America. And you ate that shit and loved it.
Because that's just how stupid and partisan you are.
