A witness who testified before the Hunter Biden grand jury was asked to identify the “big guy” in the first son’s planned deal with a Chinese energy conglomerate — as calls ramped up to have President Biden included in a conspiracy probe.
The question arose after the witness was shown a piece of evidence while appearing in secret before the panel in Wilmington, Del., a source familiar with the proceedings told The Post.
A bombshell email exclusively reported by The Post in October 2020 showed that one of Hunter Biden’s business partners, James Gilliar, outlined the proposed percentage distribution of equity in a company created for a joint venture with CEFC China Energy Co.

Try it one more time, all reference to the “Big Guy” comes from one guy, big Bobby Bolinski, who said “Big Guy” in a memo he read implied “Big Guy” was Joe Biden. The person who actually wrote the memo said “Big Guy” did not mean Joe Biden

No, the NYC case didn’t fizzle, the new head of the office said he was going to focus elsewhere, not drop, but deemphasize in favor of other cases.
However the NY AG’s case against Trump is still very much alive currently waiting on a decision on Trump’s umpteenth appeal on why he doesn’t have to appear or give a disposition. In fact, the cases were redundant, which is probably why NYC lessened their efforts

Even if Bobolinski was right in his speculation that Joe Biden was "the big guy," isn't the memo in question from the time of the Trump administration? If so, wouldn't that mean that, at the time, Joe Biden was just a private citizen? I've read up on this, but I still don't understand what it is anyone is meant to have done wrong here.

I'm a registered independent and always have been, but vote for Democrats, since the practical alternative is empowering the GOP, which is disastrous. I'm not a zealot about gun control, but I do admit that murder rates, suicide rates, and accidental shooting deaths would all be significantly lower with tighter gun control.
