So far all the actual terrorists, and almost all the suspected terrorists crossed the border at border cross points, usually in airports. The fact that you have no cases sort to support your claim, means that your claim is questionable.

But the main point your claim collapses on is that if thousands of terrorists have entered the USA over the last 20 years... Where is the terrorism? By definition, a terrorist has to perform terrorism. If there is no terrorism, there were no terrorists.

The border is wide open except for Title 42 and criminal and watch lists. Title 42 is ending.
The numbers of get aways in March (62k) (ex)is way more then all encounters under Trump per month after he got REMAIN negotiated!

Like I said.. sheer numbers (and the fact Yemeni terrorists are being caught) makes it a safe bet
we are getting some bad hombres infiltrating the border.

Terrorist acts are kind of hard to miss. You claim thousands of terrorists a year have been entering the USA from Mexico for 20 years now. That is like a 9/11 every week or so for a thousand weeks. You remember how much we noticed 9/11? Well, I would think we would notice thousands of them.

by definition that is a national security threat (among other disastrous outcomes)

No, 62k did not "get away". In fact, they presented themselves to border patrol. That is as far from getting away as possible. They were intentionally caught.

The 23 were all caught trying to cross the Southern border as follows:

four were stopped in the Rio Grande Valley and Del Rio Sectors, respectively, while three were stopped from crossing at El Paso, according to the CBP’s FOIA response. In Arizona, two were stopped at in Yuma and Tucson Sectors. In California, eight were apprehended at the El Centro and San Diego Sectors.

The border is not open. It is far more secure than when Reagan was President. It is more secure than when trump was president.
