Russian economy facing COLLAPSE with mega-recession this year

I think you've done enough to convince people that you're an imbecile, there's no need to over egg the pudding.

Five million infected last week, maggot- as Bozo and the boys ended free Covid testing. You are a turkey praising Christmas.

The last quarter we have data for, the US had 6.9% growth. That is as far from collapse as you can get.

when we attempt to pay increasing debt service from higher interest rates with printed money it only makes the rates go higher. See Zimbabwe for an example of how that works.

Except that is not what is happening. We are not servicing our debt with printed money. We are servicing our debt with more debt. That locks up more money in slow movement, and is mostly deflationary.

Bull SHit.

RUSSIA is heading for a major recession this year, with the economy to contract by as much as 12 percent, Western officials believe.

The impact of sanctions imposed on Moscow by the UK, US and EU are having a devastating impact with the Kremlin scrambling to keep the economy afloat. Moscow has been badly hit by measures being slowly ratcheted up since the invasion of Ukraine on 24th February.

Blame it on tRump, his crimes against humanity family, tRump's sewer conspiring treasonous election hacking repukes and dumbass voters who are among the un-American minority. Place the justified blame where it belongs among these uncivilized creatures who are a horrible liability on America and the common decency of humanity on Earth.

Quantitative easing is the closest thing the USA does to printing money to pay off our debt. The Federal Reserve literally prints money to buy debt. Technically it holds the debt, rather than paying it off, but basically it is paying it off with printed money. At least temporarily, because the debt will be sold back to the economy in general later.

It is inflationary, and meant to be inflationary. It is used to combat deflation when interest rates hit zero, and cannot be lowered more. Deflation is far worse than inflation. Target inflation is 2%.

There was quantitative easing back when trump was president, but there has been absolutely none since the election. It would be crazy to even consider quantitative easing now.
