The Chinese economy is much more sound than ours is.

Russia is also good at tech, at building things....a hold over of the Soviet days when so much effort was put into education and science. They are a great friend to have. The West was not interested in having Russia as a friend, we have been very clear on that point.

sanctions are not going to cause Putin to "change course"- they do hurt the Russian economy if that is the goal
But China has Putins back, and the rouble is back to pre-invasion levels

I repeat that the Chinese have decided that sanctions will hurt the West the most. I also note that so far the West is afraid to sanction either China or India.

yes/ what's the point of sanctions? They wind up hurting us as much or more then those sanctioned

we keep threatening sanctions for not helping the West destroy Russia, but we are afraid to pull the trigger.....as we should be.

Russian sanctions managed to drive Russia into the Sino-Russo alliance laid out at the Olympics
they are mindless and counterproductive

Not getting educated, not learning how to think, allowing ourselves to be driven fully by emotions, is a certain road to BIG PAIN.

Just think what would have been had trump been re elected. By now we would be out of NATO, out of the UN, and Russia would be allowed to do everything and anything they wanted. Soon there would have been a new USSR.

ive given up. I now think of managing the decline of the USA to a 3rd world status run by China

Our economy and our military, along with influence are fading while China rises

Russia gets kicked around by the west -Putin has obviously given up on that as well

so we face Russian weaponry, backed by Chinese might and money
Look to India and see how they shake out, but China expansion with hard and soft power is a given

I have been wondering for two years if India would change their mind about staying non aligned. I am seriously wondering if we are in real time watching them give up on the West as Russia did, as they watch the West torment and abuse Russia.

Trump worked very hard to court India. Biden had 1 phone call/meeting with "the Quad"

PM Modi is afraid of China but must see us as unreliable
