As far as I know, it's people like jarod that keep on reminding you of him. I mean, you can take his blather a couple different ways. You could say "dang! It's been over a year now, I guess we really DID lawfully elect a babbling, senile moron to the highest office in the land". Or you could interpret it to mean "after a year of the biden clusterfuck, maybe you should start thinking about taking the whole enchilada back". Personally, I'm gonna push that BS right back in his face like a steaming bowl of brussels sprouts and say "no thanks, I don't want Trump's name associated with this clusterfuck of a country right now. This is all 'tater head's now".

I'm in no way saying he shouldn't be discussed. He's a recent ex-President who has not ruled out running again in 2024, that makes him technically still an active player. He's going to be talked about.

This is just my observation but there is a group of people that wanted him out of office but not actually gone because talking about him constantly feeds their soul in some way. It goes beyond simple discussions of policy. It's this continual loop of he needs attention, the press wants to give him attention because whether people love or hate him they can't quit him so he gives them great ratings. People are free to see it differently, I won't be offended.

Now nuance is generally not allowed on this board. Trump hasn't just waltzed off into the sunset so it's not like he won't be discussed at all. My point was he still takes up more oxygen on here than anyone or anything else. There was a poster Tacomaman who posted on her for awhile. When Trump lost he actually started a thread declaring his sadness. He was happy Trump lost but sad because he started threads about Trump on a daily basis and now he's no longer in office.

It's like how Trump has this need for adoration and attention from the media and supporters (and even non supporters) that he can't let go of, hence why he will never be silent. For people here it's like a bonding thing, let's just continue to talk about Trump as our dislike of him brings us all together. To me its fascinating.

Trump is the big fat ugly orange face of the GOP. He determines who runs. He determines what the party says. He can primary any righty who has an opinion he does not approve. he is the president of the Republican Party, but not the US.

Well, I would say that Ron Klain is currently in charge of the executive branch. Also, James G. Blaine wasn't president from 1885-1893, and Richard Nixon wasn't president from 1961-1965, even though Dems also stole those elections. Tammany Hall stole the 1800 election from Adams, but, he left office the following March.

tRump is or was a president in the mind of a deranged maniac who was not legally elected in the first place but a lawlessly hacked in menace and criminal against humanity. tRump was duly given the boot in 2020 as a tyrant squatted in the White House on a rampage against humanity for four hellish years and deserves to spend the rest of his despicable life in a prison for life.
