In your mind is Trump really the president?

You just can't quit Ol' Big T, huh Jarod?

We'll be 4 presidents down the line and you'll still be stuck on Trump!

Thank you for admitting it.

They really wanted us to forget how they enthusiastically supported and defended George Dumbya Bush.

These days you can barely find a conservative who will cop to being a resolute Bush supporter.

The same is already happening about Donald Trump, that’s what they do, They jump on the bandwagon that is clearly propelled by lies, then want us to forget about it after the insanity fades.

We need to hold onto it and not let it fade, to prevent it next time.

Like $4/gal gas?

Really? We want to forget about him but guess who wants us to keep reminding us of him?

Don't be dishonest.

You're calling me dishonest? Do you see the responses in this thread?! Read them then tell me again I'm dishonest.

Now nuance is generally not allowed on this board. Trump hasn't just waltzed off into the sunset so it's not like he won't be discussed at all. My point was he still takes up more oxygen on here than anyone or anything else. There was a poster Tacomaman who posted on her for awhile. When Trump lost he actually started a thread declaring his sadness. He was happy Trump lost but sad because he started threads about Trump on a daily basis and now he's no longer in office.

It's like how Trump has this need for adoration and attention from the media and supporters (and even non supporters) that he can't let go of, hence why he will never be silent. For people here it's like a bonding thing, let's just continue to talk about Trump as our dislike of him brings us all together. To me its fascinating.

One more time, if Trump went away, we wouldn't be talking about it right now. Do you understand?

He is a danger to America.

yes. talk about trump forever, it's a winning strategy.

Trump is out there running his mouth about Biden every day- And you Trump supporting assholes are here every day still running your mouths about how great Trump is Vs. How bad Biden is allegedly.

Do you actually think Biden Supporters are not going to speak up about that here?

Perhaps you are as dumb as I think you are!

ORLY? More dangerous than a president that cripples the economy, lowers the US world standing, and has engineered fuel and food shortages?

How so?

Just a few months ago, a man who clearly knew he lost the election, attempted to get Congress to appoint him president anyway, during that attempt a crowd of thousands of people broke into the capital of the United States of America demanding Trump gets to be president even though he did not lose.

Now his supporters are commanding we stop talking about him and forget about the incense.

:nono: That was the jankiest American election ever.

This is for your gaslight bullshit:

Is that a question you’re asking yourself? Some of you just can’t stop talking about him. You talk about him more than Biden or anyone else in your own party. You wanted him gone yet you still need him for your daily nourishment. You can’t quit him. It’s fascinating.

No more so than the right's fascination with Hillary.

He's an important political person. As President, he committed the first attempt to overthrow the results of a certified, presidential election in American History and the investigation is still going on and finding more and more evidence that Trump indeed committed a crime (per a Trump-appointed judge).
He's currently making some very unhinged statements in the press that demand attention like pleading to Mo Brooks to rescind the 2020 election and make him POTUS again.
He said Putin's invasion of Ukraine was "genius" as well as asking Putin to "find dirt" on Biden. He launched his Truth Social media site and holds rallies frequently.
Methinks that is enough to justify bringing him up in conversation.

Don't you?

This is a political message board, and Trump is easily one of the top 3 political figures in the country right now.

Sorry, I know you want me to, but I won’t!

I can understand why the Right wants us to forget about the worst president in the history of America and the only president who:
Never won the popular vote in two presidential elections
The only president who didn't concede after losing a presidential election.
The only president who tried to subvert the democratic will of the American People in the 2020 election and stay in power.
Continues to praise Putin, America's biggest global adversary and a deadly despot.
Continues to tell Republican members of Congress to reinstate him to POTUS even though it's constitutionally illegal.
Called the Georgia Secretary of State and illegally tried to get him to 'find' enough votes to make him win the state

And there's more...much more.

Just like Jan. 6th insurrection, the right wants us to forget all the bad things they've done in the last 4-5 years. I don't blame them.
But as sure as Trump is a fat, dumb charlatan...it aint happening.

I think the truth is:

A) You fuckers got some TDS afflicting your brains

B) Leftists are desperate to deflect away from their disaster of a joke of a president.

Considering Trump's Attorney General, the DHS, the FEC, the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel and many Trump-appointed judges all said the 2020 Presidential Election was secure, you should feel pretty good about your answer.

iu

Thanks, I do!
