I did not agree with the vigilante justice served on Saddam by the Shia provisional government, and personally would have preferred he stand trial in the Hague for Crimes against humanity.

But I am not going to shed any tears for Saddam, though you are welcome to do so.

For me, the democratically-elected Zalensky of independent, sovereign Ukraine is a lot easier to identify with than a murderous dictator.

Hmmmm....not following why you believe Saddam was a victim of "vigilante" justice.

The best thing for Russia is for Putin to suddenly die of a heart attack.

I was a troop once, and Putin's decision to invade Ukraine is not worth all those Russian troops lives either! I don't understand, why the military does not take him out?!! It's just madness?!!

For me, Nuremberg and the Tokyo war crimes trials are the models.

Agreed, but, let's be honest, isn't the best solution for the planet to have Putin have an "accident", die of a "heart attack" or succumb to illness?

The price for complete forgiveness of Russia's murderous campaign in Ukraine is the removal of Putin forever and Russian government reform.

They were told (if they were told anything) that they were going to liberate Ukraine from 'Nazis' and it would only take a few days.

People have been shooting at them ever since. Maybe 10,000 Russian dead in a month. That's more than the US and its allies lost in Iraq and Afghanistan in 20 years.

Most of the kids who came back from Iraq had no idea what the fuck we were doing there.

These Russians were lied to the same way our troops were.

The difference being Russians are killing their own. It isn't sitting well with anyone but Putin.
