Yes, Marty, her record shows she is soft on people who have child porn.
Do you know all of the facts on those cases that she had the discretion to set the punishment for!
Let me give you an example of something that comes to mind about child porn. My first wife- the mother of my two children, was a good mother, and great person. But she loved taking photos of my kids. She just used a cheap Kodac camera, and we used to have the photos developed at the drug store around the corner. One photo she took of our son, who was only a year old at the time, was him standing in the bathtub as he was taking a bath, but he was full nude, and it was a frontal photo. I'll assure you the photo was taken just for fun, and it was a cute photo, and there was no bad intentions in it what-so-ever.
After developing, the photos, she showed the photos to my in-laws, and my brother in law, who was a lawyer, told his sister- "This photo could be considered child porn. I thought he was just kidding, and maybe he was, but I told my wife, don't take any more photos of our son in the nude, just in case. I mean, you never know if the people who develop these things might be offended by something like that and report us to the cops!
So, who knows what kinds of cases like this might end up in court.
So unless you know the facts in the case, how do you know the sentence was light?
