Putin ordered to desist

where did you get that idea?
China is supporting Russia behind the scenes and calling for negotiations

And lying of course, they now claim that they had no idea that Russia was going to invade. As with the WOKE the Chinese feel no obligation to tell the truth.

somebody ( ahem Biden?) should be looking to get peace talks moving besides direct talks between Russia and Uk

Zelwnsky is playing the tough guy - that's all fine,
but in the meantime his country is being literally reduced to rubble

I am not wasting my time with the jingoism and the US Congress falling over themselves to send yet more weapons - there is no answer for Russian artillery.. JAVELIN can take on some tanks but nothing stops missiles and artillery

Time for Zelensky to ask for help in securing the peace instead of just more weapons ,
Russian land forces may take some hits but they can't be stopped from pulverizing the place

The US should be leading some talks, but we didnt in Donbas either

ya I know the referendum -and it does show Crimea really is Russian by history and by the parliament vote
But this is what they need to negotiate ( i said that for years) and I dont see anything cllose toit

Funny how prior to Russia's invasion, polling in Ukraine was the exact opposite of what the referendum ended up being AFTER the invasion.

bilateral talks from what I know of.
The US could play a role here, or Europe..somebody

You should probably shut the fuck up and stop posting since everything you do here is for the benefit of Russia.

You disseminate their propaganda like no one else on JPP.

Why is it that the shit you write here ends up being pushed out by Russian bots and Fox News 24-48 hours later?

STFU with your ignorance
The election was CRIMEAN not "Ukraine" - and then CRIMEAN Parliamnet backed it up

On Monday morning, electoral officials in Crimea confirmed the official results of the peninsula's referendum. According to the head of the referendum commission, Mikhail Malyshev, 96.8 percent of ballots cast had voted yes for the region to join the Russian Federation. Voter turn out was estimated at 83 percent, a high figure considering that many opponents on the motion had pledged to boycott the ballot.

Soon after the official results were made public, the Crimean parliament convened to officially request annexation by Moscow and to declare independence.

No. Can they force him to ? No.
What exactly was the point of this exercise ?

You may not have read my posts #8 and #26. I will repeat the relevant parts for you:

A ruling of the ICJ is binding on all UN member states. That doesn’t mean Putin will comply, of course. It does mean the court has dismissed Putin’s claims about “Nazis” and “genocide” which he used to justify the invasion.

I doubt if Zelenskiy expects Putin to comply with a court order, but this will make it harder for him to drum up support anywhere. Not even Xi wants to be associated with an international outcast.

Maybe Frank Apisa is right and Putin could use it as some kind of get-out, but I can't see that myself. One thing is for sure: Putin will be wishing he hadn't gotten into this. It's the biggest mistake by far of his entire career.

You’re welcome.

Crimea didn't have a Parliament because it was a part of Ukraine.

So what you're talking about are the Nazis your guy Putin installed there.

And as always, you push Russian propaganda on the internet.

One of these days, you are going to slip up and you are going to accidentally doxx yourself and I'm going to be 100% here for it.

:palm:

Will Putin comply - what do you think?
The impact will be staggering.
First John Kerry reminded Putin of the impact his war will have on global warming climate change climate crisis or whatever it's called.
Then the pope told him to stop it.
Now the ICJ order is binding according to international law.

Looks like the russians will withdraw any day now.

Again, there was no Crimean Parliament to make this decision because Crimea was a part of Ukraine.

So the Parliament of Nazis that Putin installed in Crimea officially asked to be annexed by Moscow! Wow, who could've thunk it?

I know how disappointed you are.
