Telling a pollster that you are a Rambo, standing ready to rain hell down on enemies both foreign and domestic, doesn't prove what would actually happen in real life.

Red Dawn was just a movie. It wasn't a harbinger of the heroism Trump ass-lickers would show in the face of a dire threat to the nation.

January 6 proved that alt-rightys will dive for cover rather than report for duty. Trump said the election was stolen by dark forces, and that the Republic was in the gravest of danger from an imminent takeover by communists.

Conservatives largely claimed they believed Trump. Trump's claim was as dire a threat to the republic that has ever been made in our lifetime.

But even against a threat that dire, only a few hundred MAGA fat asses reported for duty on January 6. And most of them broke down in tears and groveled for mercy when hauled before a judge when caught.

Most Republicans have jobs they have to show up to and people to provide for, including the basement-dwelling ANTIFA son.

Conservatives have a vastly over inflated self perception of their own courage and fortitude.

How many decades have we seen rightwing blowhards tell us they stand ready to wield their bang-bangs if their freedom was ever threatened by tyrannical forces?

According to the nature and scope of the threat to the Republic claimed by Trump, there was never a better time to report for duty than January 6. According to Trump, our Republic was in the gravest of danger.

But if you check the records, virtually all the conservative posters were all here typing on their keyboards on Jan 6.

So even though Trump told you our republic was in the gravest of danger, and you supposedly believed him, you couldn't be bothered to take a sick day from work to report for duty on Jan 6.

That is not really a profile in courage.

Hypotheticals, one never knows how they will react until it happens. I’ve been in situations where the people I thought would step up didn’t and unexpected heroes took over.

It’s like Zelensky, Putin didn’t think an actor could be a great leader. Fooled him!
