Philadelphia Police Capt. Jason Smith said that while a nearby doorbell camera didn’t capture the shooting, the victim could be heard screaming on the camera's footage from the time of the incident.

The suspect charged with murdering a Philadelphia man in cold blood as he walked his dog was out on bail in an armed kidnapping case, police said.

Davis L. Josephus, 20, of Philadelphia, is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Milan Loncar during an apparent robbery attempt on Jan. 13, just one block from Loncar’s Brewerytown home, police said Sunday.

Video released by police shows two suspects approaching Loncar – a 2019 Temple University graduate – as he walked his dog, before one of the men pointed a gun at Loncar as they started reaching for his pockets.

Loncar was then shot once in the chest and later died at a hospital, police said.

Roughly 90 minutes later, police said highway patrol officers pulled over a car sought in connection with a carjacking in Kensington, where four suspects fled, but the driver was taken into custody, police said.

When he was running for district attorney, Larry Krasner, supported by a PAC funded by George Soros, made his commitment to social reform and reducing the inmate population quite clear. He promised to fundamentally transform the city’s criminal justice system.

Maalik Jackson-Wallace, for example, was given a second chance by Krasner’s office. Jackson-Wallace, whose case was highlighted by the Inquirer, was initially arrested on a gun possession charge. The case was sent to ARD and Jackson-Wallace received probation. He was arrested a second time for gun possession and released on unsecured bail. On June 13th, he was arrested again and charged with murder; police say he shot and killed a 26-year-old man.

Is the timeframe a disqualifier, or is it the fact that Saint Ahmaud's killers weren't charged with murder for 2 months later, hypocrite? BTW, an accused is not legally a "murderer" until a verdict is rendered, hypocrite.

Perhaps you are choosing to ignore the reason Saint Ahmaud's killers (they never denied killing him) weren't arrested was because the authorities didn't conclude that any murder had been committed unto 2 month later. They were arrested before being charged, with murder, as I recall. Perhaps you can find a 6 year old to explain the significance of that sequence of events to you.
