You really just don’t get it huh

Oh yes, I get it. It's like when the Plantation Owner kept the Black Sharecropper fighting the White Sharecropper, ... and the White Sharecropper fighting the Black Sharecropper.
Plantation Owner always came out on top.

That is quite insightful. And correct.

You know how much leverage workers actually have in this economy? So much that the CEO of Delta had to call over to the CDC to reduce the quarantine time because if it was 10 days, his company would collapse.

Sounds to me like a General Strike of all workers would bring the business/CEO/donor class to their knees.

That's why they want schools open...so parents can go back to work in the office and stave off the inevitable commercial real estate collapse.

CEO Ed Bastian, along with the company's chief health officer and a medical adviser, asked in a letter to CDC Director Rochelle Walensky seen by Reuters that the agency's recommended quarantine period for anyone who tests positive with a breakthrough COVID-19 infection be reduced to five days from the current 10.

Yea, sure... Like past general strikes did that.

The railway strike of 1886 didn't
The Pullman strike of 1894 didn't
The coal strike of 1902 didn't
The steel strike of 1919 didn't
The railway strike of 1922 didn't
The UAW strike of 1946 didn't
The steel strike of 1952 didn't

You get the idea. Today there are fewer union members than ever and unions have far less power than they previously did. How the hell are they going to manage to do anything useful towards a general strike?

I have a feeling that our girl LV has been on a general strike most if not all of her life when it comes to WORK. Welfare losers like her generally want others to follow suit so they dont look so out of place and pathetic when stacked up against the industrious. Wont work LV,....you cant hide your parasitic sloth lifestyle.

50

married for 22 years

professional career

20 days of paid vacation

1 kid in college

1 a senior in high school

why? because you have to be an idiot to not get ahead when all the rules benefit America at the expense of the rest of the world.

yet here you are. a loser - needing big changes because you can't find a way to succeed. fucking pathetic

Lousy Vermin has come back even crazier than before, not even I thought that possible. She's a fucking lunatic without any doubt.

Wonder if she was one of those fat little Atlanta Antifa broads that got her ass kicked. Im thinking YES. Warnock couldnt help her....

You have to have a job and be in a union to go on strike, two things LV has never done...

Agree that major players had a lot to do with the new guidelines. Probably in the timing of the rollout more than the policy in general.

It HAS been two years now. In the beginning they erred on the side of caution based on semi informed guesswork. I'm thinking that they've been doing studies during the slow moments of the pandemic. Testing is probably better, and everyone is under pressure to keep the economy moving. If there were a modicum of cooperation in this nation, we'd probably have a moving economy AND lower Covid numbers.

I'll bet that studies show 5 days to be safe enough. AND...millions of people simply weren't reporting mild cold symptoms for fear of losing 10 days of work.

If they went unmasked, they're assholes. Perhaps 5 days is easier to swallow for both sides. As long as it's safe.

LV. Communist Stooge. Why do you think Democrats keep Importing Third World Labor into the Country? That's right. So there will be an 'Over Supply' of worker drones to fuel the Economy ... keeping Wages*low ... fighting each other for Survival.

(once again, LV left out of the 'Plan') :(
The worker drones keep the meat moving in this country. When Covid was killing them, it upset the entire apple cart. If we are to believe the 4 corporations that produce most of the meat, we could use a few thousand of the above referenced imports.

It's absolutely true. We need to bring these pricks to their knees. What sickens me is how all these poor Republican voters blindly bend over for the rich.

They're so insulated that Delta's CEO panic-called over to the CDC to shorten the time by 5 days so his business didn't collapse.

This comes a year after businesses lobbied state governments to end unemployment benefits so their businesses didn't collapse.

Lots of worry from the top 1% about their businesses collapsing...apparently, capitalism is much more fragile than anyone thought.

If people had their job to return to, they should not have been given UI bennies for months after they could have returned to work. The Feds. aren't set up to manage giant influxes of emergency money into the economy. They throw money at the problem, and it's cheaper to have billions in waste/graft than it would be to pay an entire dept. to oversee disbursements. Sadly.

We all know people who had jobs to return to, but the bonus $300/week on top of UI pay was making them entirely too happy to stay home. Same money or more than they would make at work.

I didn't need either of the $1200 stimulus checks I was sent, but I accepted them.

There comes a point when fair is fair. People were facing eviction or starvation. Their choice. In the early stages of the UI enhancement, it was an emergency situation. It was certainly warranted.

Once the economy opened up the program should have ended for anyone with a job to return to.

socialism wouldn't? airlines are critical infrastructure

we had lockdowns except for "essential workers" and the country is still fucked up by Biden
It was Biden who brought inflation and supply chain crises in office with him -not Trump

Now say something stupid so I can ignore you again

this stupid MF is still as ignorant as the day is long LOL SMH
